I don't see "World Class" from Rice, can't break lines and no sense of tempo. He's extremely limited in Midfield and being found out now. Rice was a CB that, worked as a 6 for West Ham because he could run around and tackle. He is only in conversations due to set pieces output

What is Joao Palhinha going to do in a De Zerbi system? I was an advocate for him under Frank, and don’t think he’s been as bad as anyone has been saying. But I seriously start to wonder how much of a say De Zerbi is having if he is becoming a permanent signing. Centre back depth? Lead protection? 6 that drops in as the 3rd centre back whilst the fullbacks get really, really high up?
