@Mr_Guantai I once took a huge risk in a jury trial on cross. It was a question I never asked in depositions either but it worked out and we won the case.

Something I was taught about cross examination, never ask a question you do not already have the answer to. Never put anything to a witness. Ask closed ended questions that require only a yes or no answer. If the witness wishes to clarify anything, they can do so in reexam.
