Dart uses a forked, modified version of @toly Percolator: self-custodial on-chain settlement and risk accounting, with atomic exact-fill acceptance and off-chain RFQ/routing/keeper infra. We kept Percolator’s risk engine, but replaced matcher-driven execution with signed exact-fill RFQ as a production hardening step. It’s easier to secure, easier to reason about, better for launch UX, and aligned with Dart’s production stack. A perps trade accepts a signed quote via AcceptFirmQuote. If valid, it fills the full quoted size at the full quoted price. If conditions changed, it fails atomically. Longer term, we’ll work with auditors toward permissionless LP-run matcher competition. Reviving TradeCpi is likely the path, but it needs a deeper matcher audit, allowlist, and governance story.
