I am sick and tired of hearing leftists blame Republicans for the government shutdown. So, leftists, allow me to explain this to you like you’re 5. If it takes 60 votes in the Senate to pass a continuing resolution, and we have 53 total Republicans in Senate and 2 sane Democrats alongside them all voting ‘Yes,’ and it doesn’t pass, even after 14 attempts to reopen because we didn’t reach 60 votes, then this can only mean one thing: Democrats (aka your side) keep voting NO, which continues to keep the government shutdown. Stop with this “they aren’t coming to the table and negotiating” nonsense because the House already passed the bill, there is NOTHING to negotiate on. If it’s anything we learned this past 36 days, it’s that math and logic are two things Democrats don’t possess.
