Only with GA destruction being riled up by Kragnos' awakening. 4th ed is a chaos a counter attack, spearheaded by the skaven. With chaos taking ground, and destroying some settlements.

Setting up strongholds, locking realmgates and reinvigorating allies. 2nd ed was about Nagash trying to take over with power from the necroquake. Ending in a climatic duel between Gods, Teclis v Nagash.

Stormcast are weird because looking at them I should like them yet I feel nothing and I think that goes for a lot of people. As they are hardly popular, despite GW giving them so much attention and new models, treating them like Space Marines just without the audience.

@cerbari1 @TearShapedHeart @SnowWalker92 @LavenderGhast I'd say what you feel is 40 years of lore, and 30 years head start over AOS. 40k has has 40 years to spread little phrases, have inside jokes, and many games some of which turned out to awesome, great even. But those games really do help bring people through in setting immersion

@cerbari1 @Aeldarellie @EaterOfBrushes Hammerhall Aqshy is the main weapons manufacturer for the COS with Greywater Fastness being second. HH Aqshy through its own realm gate trades armaments for food from its twin city HH Gyhran which is the breadbasket of the COS.

So long as they keep homage to Azyr and fight for them whenever they call. Logistics wise it depends from city to city. Some are entirely landlocked, while others have a port.

Let’s say the rumours are true that they will turn AoS into AoS/oldworld 2.0. They want it to make the same dollar as 40k and get new fans into this new setting. It won’t work and won’t get any of the detectors into it. Plus pissing off the fans they made for 4 editions.

Bc seriously think if you just picked up an old core book or battletome you'd familiarize yourself with the setting a bit better. From there you'll have a more substantial idea of the realms. Bc 90% of your questions have answers

@UnitLowland @EaterOfBrushes What sucks if this is true is that it'll just kill the momentum it had. Alienate its current audience and over half of the naysayers and detractors would probably still refuse it bc "Its not 40k/TOW". But who knows maybe it doesn't happen or GW manages to pull it off.

@EaterOfBrushes It would genuinely devastate me honestly. Idk it just feels so idiotic. I just feel so incredibly sad about this whole thing. Again AoS is so unique and fun. The idea they would scrap it just hurts. I have no other way to describe how this feels other than it hurts

Go through dark elf lore, its the height of ridiculousness. 40k consistently presents "galactic" numbers that our real world armies dwarfed in ww2. B) 40k has 40 years to build its precense within the wargaming space. The con you mentioned is basically named after it. C) 40k outsells EVERYTHING else GW by 2x. But they still produce AOS-

Then dogshit endtimes and we all groaned, and AOS 1st ed before ghb1 and 2nd ed was not cool either. Will yall ever be happy?
