From what I have seen myself, and heard from others more active in the political process, David is one of the most responsive and competent operators in D.C. His time as a public servant and staffer suggest he is both principled and of high character. On top of that he is also a kind and friendly person. If travel expense leads to accessibility for constituents, then that seems like money well spent. All sides would be well served by having more Minnesotans like @dmfitzsimmons in Washington D.C.

The Star Tribune is attacking a republican staffer for legally and ethically approved travel expenses, but is silent on billions of fraud on Walz's watch. This type of partisan reporting is why people have lost faith in the STrib.

These teams put on a terrific show for the 500+ in attendance. With an under 2 hour game - including all the between inning Darwin fun - you know these guys were dealing. Reminder that tomorrow, November 5th, is Election Day. CITY of Darwin residents can cast their ballots in-person at Darwin City Hall from 7:00 am - 8:00 pm on November 5th. They may also cast their vote via the absentee ballot application process at the Meeker County Courthouse until 5:00 pm today (November 4th). The TOWNSHIP of Darwin, which is a different municipal entity, uses a mail balloting system, so TOWNSHIP residents do not cast their ballots at City/Township Hall. Darwin TOWNSHIP ballots have been mailed to registered voters. Additional information regarding Meeker County's mail ballot procedures can be found at co.meeker.mn.us/DocumentCenter… Please reference the MN Secretary of State's polling place resources to determine your precinct and polling location.
