I hate how FGO does reruns and dosent have proper menu for old events where you can just read the story. And i will probably never play one event that i missed and hate my self for it. That is my only FOMO

@pussbeast I have a Normal 1CC in TH07, TH08, TH12 and TH13, as well as a couple of hours in Soku online. Still feel like a fake Touhou fan because I haven't finished even a quarter of the games and haven't read any of the manga. 😅

@VVcrimson61 Don't agree at all, the entire point of the archer fight is that Shirou only wins BECAUSE he reached the peak of his development. The only major difference between end of archer fight Shirou and Gilgamesh beater Shirou is that one of them had sex with Rin.

@DaryGrande That's not my point. My point is from a character development standpoint it doesn't work. UBW for Shirou represents the end of his journey and what he believes at that point. Shirou's ideological conflict isn't over during that fight, he only starts to make his conclusion.

Not in the least, every major battle is far superior in the VN 1. Saber vs Gilgamesh 2. Shirou vs Archer 3. Shirou vs Gilgamesh 4. Shirou vs Berserker 5. Shirou vs Kirei The anime adaptations choose to invest in stuff like Hassan vs Cu half the time which genuinely don't matter

@VVcrimson61 And archer for sure couldn't use UBW at that point considering he had no master and had already used it before. The anime sacrificed logical consitency for stronger visual storytelling, and in my opinion it worked really well (the remaining 95% of the adaptation sadly didn't)
