Canada's role in taking firm action – often trailblazing – to ramp up pressure against Russia and in rallying allies across the Atlantic to support Ukraine is greatly appreciated by Ukrainians. Ultimately, this is what will help bring Russia's war to an end. Thank you, Mark, and all Canadians for your support and condolences.

Yesterday, Russia launched one of its largest drone and missile attacks on Ukraine in four years. Canada unequivocally condemns these indiscriminate attacks. I express my deepest condolences to those injured and everyone mourning their loved ones. Canada stands with Ukraine as it defends itself against this unconscionable aggression and we will work with allies to sustain pressure on Russia to bring this conflict to an end.

It's not a butter alternative. It's an industrial spread invented by a soap company.
It's not a milk alternative. It's water with oats and additives, sold for double the price of milk.
Every product on the plant-based shelf has been linguistically rebranded to borrow the legitimacy of the food it replaced.
The cow has not been consulted on the use of her name.
The sheep has not consented to the term vegan wool.
The marketing department in London has consented to all of it.
The animals predate the marketing department by ten thousand years.
The marketing department will be gone before the animals will.

And of course the moment a physician points out the importance of training, evidence, and clinical experience, the response becomes: “There you go playing the credential card.”
No — the credential is not the argument. The training is what allowed the argument to survive contact with reality.
If your bridge collapses, you want an engineer. If your plane engine fails, you want a trained pilot. If your child develops meningitis at 2 a.m., you suddenly become very interested in credentials, residency training, board certification, and whether the person treating them has managed this before.
Medicine is not a podcast opinion circle or a wellness influencer convention. It is a profession built around reducing the odds that human arrogance kills patients.
Credentials are not proof someone is always right. Medicine evolves precisely because physicians challenge old ideas constantly. But the reason clinical training matters is because it teaches you how often intuition, anecdotes, and certainty are spectacularly wrong.
The strange modern belief is that decades of clinical experience are somehow less valuable than a confident person with a ring light, a supplement affiliate link, and a persecution complex about “the establishment.”
Curiosity matters. Skepticism matters. But at some point reality keeps score.
Not getting the concentrated medical experience is a severe lack in the education of any physician.

He invented a crisis to cut student aid – then pulled $30 million from people’s pockets to buy himself a luxury private jet.
I’ll keep fighting this government until the cuts to OSAP are reversed.

I stopped eating at Tim's a long time ago. Prefer smaller local donut companies. Donuts are bigger and taste better. Sure they are a bit more expensive, but way worth it. I don't like coffee, so that doesn't mix into my like/dislike of Tim's.

Carney is moving ahead on a new pipeline to get Canadian oil to global markets, something Alberta has been demanding for years.
And yet, Alberta is STILL complaining.
First it was “we need pipelines.” Now it’s “not this one,” “not fast enough,” or “not good enough.”
At some point it stops being about pipelines and starts looking like a province that just wants to be perpetually mad no matter what happens.
