@Blue_Jello_Qn @Darveyinbed @heretofan And Siegfried knew she had to help Edward. But I think facing that she has a family other than "their family" hurt him. Their family had made him so happy, and she was the heart of that unit. She feels the same about him. Now, if they could both realize this together.

She had to go, so I think she just went b/c telling him would be too hard. He may have come home to learn she had left. I envision Helen packing her things and sending them later. 1/2

@heretofan @Darveyinbed I always felt like she wanted him to ask her to stay here. In S6, he finally did. These two fools. For 3 years he missed her and I think she waited for him to call.

@twelvepeas They have not held hands since this scene. Briefly, he reached for her hand in S4 when they were relieved to hear Helen's pregnancy w/Jimmy was safe. They moved on to hugging in S6.

I loved those scenes in S5 with S & baby Jimmy ❤ Heartmelting 😍 We definately need this in S7 (Mary would be even better... but that might be in S8... or S7CS 🙏)

Thinking about Siegfried and Audrey in the midst of village May Day festivities. She bakes May cakes and then they join the parade through the village with bright ribbons attached to branches and hoops. Then they sit and have a picnic and watch the Morris dancers. She feeds him a bite of cake and he rumbles his approval at the deliciousness. The day ends with a bonfire and he puts an arm around her and holds her closely.

@jame_2206 @mrshalls_jumper I feel Siegfried didn't bond w/Rosie b/c Audrey wasn't there. Jimmy is their godson. They helped care for him together. Would love to see Jimmy & Rosie w/Aunt Audrey & Uncle Siegfried on a tea picnic. And, of course, S & A with Mary.

@Darveyinbed Right! And then it was never mentioned in S5 and we ended S5 w/Siegfried pining over Ms. Grantly🤪The trauma of this arc in S4 and less than 2 yrs later she leaves to care for Edward and they don't speak for 3 years? It's wild. ANGST. What did it mean? A rat named after Gerald😂

i love having a cat like i just have this creature living in my home and we don't speak the same language but we love each other and hold hands while we nap
