@H4ppY_4vocat Which is two instances of me saying something is or isn't supported by the text. If I was saying I shipped them, I'd use those words. Obviously Hysilens doesn't mirror those unrequited feelings, but even when a pairing is explicitly canon, I don't automatically ship those either

I'm all for multishipping but if you say Ciphlaea is a problematic ship because of one knowing the other when she was a child you can then go around shipping Aglaea and Hysilens. I refuse to believe you people are real.

@flameheirs I think it's largely people getting the wrong idea from earlier patches and not wanting to re-evaluate their first impression of the dynamic with the later information. Further into the story their dynamic is clearly more mother/daughter and Hysilens is the doomed Aglaea yuri

cipher is often called *little* in contrast to aglaea, there's a role-swap story where cipher takes care of *little* aglaea. several occurrences of an age gap. even adult cipher is still treated like a kid by aglaea and whines about being told what to do. odd dynamic for romance
