The Hurricanes’ problem has always been that they’ve lacked game-breakers in the playoffs… And that’s why they’ve come up short in years past. But this year… They appear to have three on their second line. This team seems different.

@jpolly22 More sense than Carolina? Carolina has had everything except that elite level player not including when they had Rantanen for 3 and a half days (hyperbole)

IF (and that is IF) Connor McDavid were to get traded before his new contract expires… The Montreal Canadiens make the most sense to me. They’re already contenders and have the assets to make it happen without compromising their current roster too much. They also have one of the best goaltending prospects in the game to send to Edmonton. This team is one more elite centre away from being at the top of the top, and McDavid would fit in like a glove. He could still bring the Cup back to Canada, just in blue, white… and red 🔵⚪️🔴

Connor McDavid might NEVER win a Cup in Edmonton. As crazy as it sounds ... should the Oilers consider trading him to the Sharks if things go south next year? 😳 #TheFutureIsTeal | #LetsGoOilers

Here’s the problem. The second you start calling your own team “Average” with high expectations, you’ve already lost the room. That’s not leadership—that’s distance. You never heard Wayne Gretzky do that.
Or Mario Lemieux.
Or Michael Jordan.
Or Tom Brady. Those guys didn’t separate themselves from the team—they dragged the team up with them. And there’s a reason they all have rings. Multiple. People forget something real quick. When Gretzky left Edmonton, the Oilers won the Cup second season after. Let that sink in. Right now, Connor McDavid is the best player in the league. No debate. But if the mindset doesn’t shift, he risks becoming something nobody wants to be— The most talented player of his era with a highlight reel full of magic… and nothing to show for it when it matters most. Someone had to say it. 🏒 #LetGoOilers

The Dallas Stars were the 2nd best team in the Western Conference this season. In the 1st Round, they should’ve played the 7th best team in the West… the 92-point Ducks. Instead, they played the 3rd best team in the West… the 104-point Wild. And the Stars are now eliminated.

Pathetic. Truly pathetic. Edmonton is going to lose this series and it’s because of the refs and unlucky bounces. The officiating has been truly awful. I’m not excusing the teams lack of effort btw, Knoblauch needs to be fired

@bagjong95810882 @ACHES @MrBeast It’s really not the same question. If you press red in this scenario. There’s no consequences for anyone else. In Mr beasts scenario everyone who presses red can potentially kill everyone who presses blue.

Everyone on earth takes a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press? BE HONEST.
