@thebwoyjoe @ChuksEricE That’s not how the law works. This is false political endorsement and could amount to defamation. Unlike Blords case of identity theft under Nigerian law.

@diplosoft Do you know the difference between police and court and can you share your source where VDM used police to lock up BLord. I will like to see that source.

Yes u are right, i know about image rights. And yes if anyone uses my image without authorization i will sue them and trust me its going to carry a bunch of zeros. But using the police to settle such matter is the problem here.
Olalekan ✨@ChiefBello_

@diplosoft I think a supposed photographer that you claim to be should know more about image rights. @diplosoft you show act better because I assume you're not ignorant you just don't like VDM. Put sentiment aside, if anyone does same to you, what will you do?

@jeffjagaban @Patoworld01 @warning234x You honestly think, normal Nigerians didn’t vote for APC, you think it was 100% rigged. There’s no point arguing with you. Just make sure you get someone to hold your hand when crossing a road. Because with this level of reasoning, you might not make it.

@DatMLBro @Patoworld01 @warning234x Nobody voted in this government sir. You know what a typical Nigerian election already is. Stop trying too hard to be ignorant! This people force themselves on us! And where we have someone like VDM who claims to fight for the oppressed he really needs to lead a revolution.

Warning ⚠️🦇@warning234x·
When breeze blow, VDM yansh open 👐🏾 This guy clearly state that we are worst than the politicians and that’s the reason why he rather support and stand on the mandate of Tinubu than to call for a revolution, because the people according to him doesn’t have the right mindset to govern themselves. This is just shifting blame away from those who actually hold power to blame the people who operate within systems created by the people in power. when those systems are corrupt or broken, society reflects it. That’s not proof that the people are worse; it’s proof that leadership has failed. Saying people can’t do better is also false. History shows that when citizens demand accountability, organize, and push for reform, systems improve. Dismissing them outright is not insight but defeatist thinking. VeryDarkMan is now a tool of excuse for the politicians for their inaction. He avoids responsibility and offers zero solution to the problems it claims to criticize.

VDM is not as smart as I thought. He reacts too fast without thinking. Not everyone is against you. Omoyele Sowore was not defending anyone personally, he was speaking against a dangerous system. A 26-day remand for a bailable offence is not just about one person...

@Patoworld01 @warning234x Yes, the same youths that ended up voting in the same government because he’s Yoruba. Note the only reasons Yorubas joined EndSARs protest was because the president was Fulani. If EndSAR were to happen today, it would be Hausa youths that would join. The Yorubas won’t.

Saying rubbish… He’s asking what kind of mindset the youth have to govern a country. Yet these same youths who demanded a better nation during the EndSARS protest were killed. The same youths are now being pushed into abject poverty because of the reckless leadership of criminals in government. Now you turn around and blame the youth? That’s hypocritical. VDM is acting like a clown 🤡 criticizing young people while also promoting and selling his noodles due to poverty before he hit fame. Make it make sense.

VDM , Barr Marshall and all dissenting Voices in the country must understand that this 26days remand order against B-Lord will become a tool that the Oppressors will use against all of us. We must be very careful not to legitimize oppression in this country cos it favors us.

@Henry_West20 Nope. According to VDM. He said if anyone defames you, you shouldn’t use police to arrest them. Instead take them to court. That’s what vdm has always said. And this is what he did here.

Verydarkman would have gone the civil route, rather than using state power to weaponize against another person. Follow what you preach. #FreeBlordNow

@frenofiyin Just let this matter go. Under Section 22 of the Cybercrimes Act of 2015, identity theft is a criminal offense. B Lord isn’t particularly well-informed and made a poor decision. Even so, he still had the option to settle the issue out of court.

@DatMLBro Na voicenote I suppose use reply you. This case is a civil one and not even a grave offense like rape, theft, murder etc. The court shouldn't be remanding someone for that long (26 days). It has little to do with VDM. His only offense here is that he is celebrating it.

VDM doesn't know this Nigeria system enough. He should've known that this systemic injustice he is celebrating is just a specimen by the system and it will soon be used against himself.

@i_m_Nath1 Also, bringing up VDM allegedly trying to trademark a name does not excuse fraudulent behaviour. Two wrongs do not cancel out in law. This is not selective outrage. If there is evidence of impersonation and false claims, then enforcement is justified.

This generation doesn’t fight oppression—we curate it. We pick and choose which injustice deserves outrage based on who’s involved. If the victim isn’t “one of us,” we scroll past, stay silent, or worse—join the mob. So let’s be clear. Did Blord kill anyone? No. Did he steal? No. Did he rape? No. So what exactly is the offense? An alleged misuse of identity—something born from online back-and-forth, the same digital playground both parties willingly stepped into. Or have we forgotten that VDM himself tried to trademark Blord’s name? Yet suddenly, the full weight of the law is unleashed. Why now? Why this energy? This isn’t justice. This is selective outrage dressed up as morality. And then comes the hypocrisy. When Sowore speaks for someone you like, he’s a hero—a fearless voice, a revolutionary. You cheered him when he defended Regina Daniels against Ned Nwoko. You amplified him. You praised his courage. But the moment he defends someone you’ve decided to hate, he becomes a nuisance. A “clout chaser.” An “attention seeker.” Same man. Same principles. Different target—different reaction. That’s not integrity. That’s tribalism. You don’t stand for justice. You stand for comfort. And here’s the uncomfortable truth: voices like Sowore’s don’t bend to public mood swings. They don’t wait for permission. They don’t check popularity charts before speaking. Call him names. Troll him. Try to drown him out. It won’t work. Because this isn’t about liking Blord or disliking VDM. It’s about whether the law is a tool for justice—or a weapon for convenience. Some of us have already chosen. We don’t move with the crowd. We don’t switch sides for applause. We don’t dilute truth to fit narratives. We stand on principle—loud, unshaken, and unapologetic.
