To help fund the AI buildout, Alphabet has also increasingly turned to debt markets, raising more than $85 billion of debt over the past year and bringing its total debt balance above $100 billion. Together, suspended buybacks, negative free cash flow, and rising debt issuance mark a major shift for a company long viewed as one of Big Tech’s most reliable cash generators. The AI race is creating a new question for investors: how much spending is too much?

$TRT under $10 and I think most people are looking at it wrong. Trio Tech is a semiconductor testing company. They do burn in testing, reliability testing, final inspection, the unglamorous work that happens before a chip ships to a customer. For fifty years this was a niche, slow moving business serving whoever needed their semiconductor tested. Then AI happened and the business changed. In Q1 fiscal 2026, Trio Tech disclosed it was providing final testing services for next generation high performance AI devices for a leading AI chip manufacturer. Not a small order. Not a pilot. Active production testing for a leading AI chip maker. They also shipped dynamic tester systems for Silicon Carbide and Gallium Nitride power modules, the exact semiconductor materials being used in EV and AI power delivery systems that didn’t exist as meaningful commercial markets three years ago. Here’s the thing about burn in testing that makes this genuinely interesting right now. As AI chips get more powerful and more expensive, the cost of one failing in a live data center goes up dramatically. A failed H100 in a production AI cluster isn’t just a hardware replacement, it’s downtime on infrastructure that costs thousands of dollars per hour to run. That makes testing not optional. It makes testing more critical and more valuable the more expensive the chip being tested is. Trio Tech is positioned in exactly the right place as chip complexity and price points climb. The financials are turning. Nine month revenue to March 2026 nearly doubled year over year to $47.7 million. The company turned profitable on a trailing twelve month basis. Operating cash flow hit $2.3 million. None of these are large numbers, this is a small company, but the direction is unambiguously right. Full fiscal year 2026 results covering the year ended June 30th will likely drop in August or September. That’s the print I’m watching. Specifically, whether the AI chip testing relationship that appeared in Q1 continued generating revenue through q2 and q3, whether the SIC and GaN tester shipments led to follow on orders, and whether the nine month revenue trajectory held through the final quarter. Now, insider selling has been flagged over the past three months and the margins are still thin. This isn’t a clean story. It’s a small company in transition with one genuinely interesting AI connection that either becomes recurring or doesn’t. The AI chip testing business is either a one quarter anomaly (doubtful with this ai boom) or the beginning of something real. I’m focused on the next earnings.

A human scanning a room of humans makes that picture outdated before the human finishes a breath. The human can see, hear, feel, all of our senses are available. We are not talking detail. We are talking scope and context. AI might be able to gauge the color in a person’s face and see they are blushing. It won’t ever know the voice of the person talking outside the meeting room is their crush. Causing the blush. They it has nothing to do with the billion dollar deal being negotiated. You get the point. I’ll ask it another way. You are at a 4 way intersection. Blindfolded. Do you trust an LLM pointed at the intersection, to get you safely across the street, or a seeing eye dog ?

If they aren't reimbursed for uncovered care, or Medicaid doesn't cover it, it will be right there for all of us to see Have them publish all their costs. All their revenues. Then we have data to work with. The hospitals that I have talked to won't do it. Have you ever seen a hospital be completely transparent ?

This is unbelievably disingenuous and I’m legitimately starting to think that Mark Cuban is in on keeping healthcare unaffordable. It’s not the rates. It’s the uncovered care that has to be absorbed that causes hospitals to go under, coupled with the fact that when people don’t have insurance to cover preventative care, they seek care only once their condition has become a really expensive emergency. Medicare for all would not only save American tax payers $500 billion/yr right from the jump, the downstream effects on the economy from having an overall healthier society are immeasurable.

Bluesky and Xbox shills are moaning over the loss of these four studios. Two of them actually worked with consultants like Anita Sarkeesean and Sweet Baby Inc. None of them produced even Indie numbers of gamers. What you have is people who wanted games to be art, to employ their art friends, and to be completely subsidized by governments, corporations etc to carry forward their personal values and messages. Gamers said nope, we want games, not art, not messages, and this is what happens.
