Datatag awarding Norfolk Police officers with their CESAR Champion Badges to PC Alex Tacon & PC Alex Williams for locating stolen agri-machinery. The suspects had attempted to remove the @CESARscheme markings and VRMs to disguise the vehicle.

Back on the road again for the PLT today … this time freely assisting @HertsPolice on a multi agency roadside operation with @EnvAgency @HMRCgovuk Approx 100 vehicles stopped & checked with various offences identified!

Congrats to PC Chris James of @NWPolice who was yesterday awarded a CESAR champion award for identifying and recovering a stolen 3 ton dumper using the @CESARscheme leading to the recovery of a further stolen machine!

The PLT was delivering free training today at the always excellent #CITS police training, this time in Warrington, kindly hosted by @FlanneryPlant Industry & police coming together to share knowledge in the fight against #PlantTheft

The PLT has been in Gloucestershire for the @securedbydesign #ATLAS26 conference. A great opportunity to touch base with Designing Out Crime Officers from all UK police forces to bring them up to speed with the latest exciting @DatatagID & @CESARscheme developments.

The PLT joined @HantsPolRural on an arrest warrant recently & examined & identified the pictured plant as stolen. 1 suspect arrested. The team remains on hand to freely assist police whether at the end of a phone or boots on the ground.

Last week the team was on the road, with highlights including working with @Trafficwmp & events with @nottspolice #HorseWatch & a @bandbmachinery open day in Lincs. The datatag fleet will be back on the road again this week with events even futher afield! #GoingTheExtraMile
