@DanielParslow @MarkHalliwell1 Dan - you were immense. The unsung hero of that season. I remember giving you a lift after the Macclesfield game with @_BillyWaters and telling you that you were our best player. Never put a foot (or head) wrong. Hope you are well!

@UKLabour We are picking up the bill, through increased taxes and higher government borrowing. With people living longer it's unsustainable and we need to consider radical, alternative ways to fund future health care.

Nigel Farage's plan to move to an insurance-based healthcare system would leave you to pick up the bill.

How many frigates and destroyers does the UK have at its disposal? Defence Secretary John Healey can't seem to tell @NickFerrariLBC with any certainty.

@BruceSlatton @ThatTimWalker @grok In 2018 we made 5,500 return applications and 209 asylum seekers were sent back, BUT we took 1,215 in return from the EU, so net we were 5x worse off. So much for the Dublin agreement!

Remember when they said Brexit was going to make us all rich, be good for the economy, reduce supermarket bills, be good for property prices etc? None of that’s worked out so its champions are left only with small boats as an issue, an issue that they themselves have created.

@PhilMyers53 Not a chance. If he manages to limp on to the Gorton and Denton by-election, he'll be gone after the results are announced. Then it won't even be #twoyearKier

Whist @Keir_Starmer is the leader of Labour, there will come a time when he has a successor. What of Reform? Without Farage there isn't a Reform Party. Farage IS Reform. No experience, no history, and just the one policy. Who'll be his successor Decent people don't vote Reform

Can there be any doubt that somewhere there's a group of people orchestrating a constant smear campaign against our government? In the meantime, Labour is #FixingBritain

Since Labour came to power, there's been an orchestrated right-wing campaign to undermine the great work they are doing. It falls to us to tell the story Labour are #𝙁𝙄𝙓𝙄𝙉𝙂𝘽𝙍𝙄𝙏𝘼𝙄𝙉 Re-post #𝙁𝙄𝙓𝙄𝙉𝙂𝘽𝙍𝙄𝙏𝘼𝙄𝙉

Everytime you go in Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons etc, 5% of the money you spend goes straight to their profits. Before 2022 it was 1.25%. But free breakfasts for schoolchildren is what is ripping you off? They really think you are stupid. Don't be.

@terrychristian We are flat broke because we spend more than we raise in taxes and fritter £100bn on servicing our ballooning debt, despite UK economy outperforming major EU member states since Brexit.

@Clainy6 And this was a two way agreement. In 2018 we made 5500 return applications and 209 asylum seekers were sent back BUT we took 1215 in return, so a net recipient! The Dublin agreement didn't work.

@PhilMyers53 @Keir_Starmer Except he's had to sack five of his high profile appointments for corruption, eviction, fraud, tax evasion and fraternising with a convicted paedophile. I'd hardly call that a return to decency Phil.

@PeterStefanovi2 The Dublin convention was a two way agreement and we ended up being a net recipient. In 2018 we made 5,500 applications for asylum seekers to be returned and were only successful in removing 209 of these. In that same year 1215 were returned to us, so a net increase of 1006.

“I would gently point out to Nigel Farage that before we left the EU we had a returns agreement with every country in the EU. He told the country it would make no difference if we left. He was wrong about that. These are Farage boats in many senses coming across the channel” 👏
