@Tealst_ I honestly don't like that in new Monster Hunter games you can just craft a million Mega Potions almost immediately and never worry about it again. Then a few hours later you have infinite of every item ever. I miss going on quests for the sole purpose of gathering.

My main issue with the recent MH games is that he outcome of a hunt is now entirely based on player skill In the older games skill definitely mattered, but preparation, knowledge and planning were a much larger focus, playing into the idea of being a hunter rather than a warrior

This song did not have to go that hard for being part of such a small mission. I replayed the mission with no SFX and voices to better appreciate the music. Rough and Decent by Shoi Miyazawa

@PBeef2Spicy RE5 has great acting and cutscenes in general.

A lot of ppl hate on Re5 but the choreography and camera work in the cutscenes, esp with Wesker is top notch

@frayedform I don't see why not. I played Drakengard before Nier and became a fan of both. They can simply stop playing Drakengard and move on if they're not enjoying the insanity.

I love drakengard but i would never genuinely recommend anyone to play that before nier. have y'all lost your damn minds

@paradoomed RE5 Chris was the best Chris. Yes his muscles are ridiculous but even after losing almost everyone he cared about including Jill, he still wore a smile, had hope for the world, treated everyone with respect, and got the job done.

@QuirklessStoner Couldn't get into God Eater, Toukiden, or Freedom Wars. They just weren't nearly as satisfying, being similar to MH isn't enough. Soul Sacrifice Delta was amazing though. That actually had interesting gameplay and sick lore.

@mikareverse OG Ashley is going through the OoT Navi treatment. Her annoyance is being greatly exaggerated in people's memories. In reality she's the best escort NPC in video games and is hardly a problem. I honestly think her OG personality makes more sense for her age and who she is.

OG RE1 has such a unique feel among all of RE. It's like a bunch of cute Saturday morning cartoon characters got trapped in a horrible situation. They witness horrible gory deaths of their friends and react like a kid's cartoon character. It's funny/sad how innocent they are.

@KingSavageAxe DD1's music kicked so much ass. The 6 skill system is awesome, inner armor is cool, movement is snappy, and the side characters are hilarious. DD1 is such an underrated gem. I understand it's not for everyone though.

Dragons Dogma 1 is the better game purely because the music has some dude pulling sick ass guitar solos during combat

Only problem is I have to look for images online to see if a minimalistic book cover used to be rad as fuck years ago and they decided to ruin it for modern audiences. I almost miss out on good books because of that

When I saw this book, I thought the cover looked cool so I bought it. I had no idea it would become my favorite book of all time. Thanks to the internet, we have lost the magic of simply diving into something without seeking approval or co-signs from strangers.

Finally beat RE Revelations 1 for the first time, here's my review. God, I miss Jill. I was hoping the game would be 50% Chris like Rev 2 was 50% Barry. The side characters are the ugliest and most annoying in all RE, glad they're gone. Boat > Prison Island for atmosphere. 6/10.
