💨Speedrun Ethereum Mindanao was a blast! 🇵🇭 In just one day, we went from 0 → onchain with a new wave of builders: 🔧Hands-on dApp creation with Scaffold-ETH led by @austingriffith ⚡ EVM fundamentals + opportunities in Ethereum with @0xDankiii 🌱 Grassroots ecosystem building in Mindanao with @rlacumba 🛡️ Smart contract security + CTFs with @gjaldon The room was filled with students, first-time devs, and young builders from @USeP_Official as they took their first steps into Ethereum learning how smart contracts work, exploring dApp deployment, and discovering what’s possible on-chain. 💡 🌍 What’s happening here in Mindanao is proof that Ethereum’s reach is expanding to new frontiers. Communities like ours are showing that Ethereum is more than tech it’s a movement of curious minds learning to build open systems together. It was a meaningful event where we learned together, shared ideas, and introduced a project that could reshape how the world thinks about data. Today, our data is mostly stored and controlled by big platforms. Over 480 students and professionals came together for the OpenxAI Vibe Coding Workshop, an inspiring event organized by the government through DICT Region 10 in partnership with @DavaoDefi, @CertifikaNuxify, and @OpenxAINetwork. This collaborative workshop provided participants with hands-on experience in no-code AI and blockchain development, reflecting the growing enthusiasm and capability of our local talent to embrace emerging technologies. As a co-founder of @DavaoDefi, a @base contributor, and a member of the OpenxAI team, it was a privilege to be part of an initiative that empowers the tech community and helps drive innovation forward in our region. 🇵🇭

Ethereum curriculum is it! @ethereumph @DavaoDefi @geodelabs 🇵🇭 The Philippines is on the verge of something big in emerging tech such as Blockchain, AI, and Web3. To truly accelerate, our academe and communities must move in tandem: communities driving hands-on learning through workshops and info sessions, while academe integrates these technologies into the curriculum. Together, we can cultivate world-class Filipino builders and Web3 startups, placing the Philippines on the global map as a builder nation. Mindanao is already taking its steps and initiatives, empowering local builders and students to take part in this growing movement. Our peers like Argentina, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam have shown what’s possible. It’s high time for the Philippines to step up and play in the big leagues. Let’s build, learn, and rise for the Philippines.

OpenxAI powers University of Southern Mindanao's first ever Blockchain Program. Over 150 students built AI-powered apps on Base with @basepilipinas and @DavaoDefi. OpenxAI led the workshop on Hack Node integration, real-time AI inference, onchain AI agents, and Global Hackathon project ideation.
