@grhark @culladgh @GardaTraffic Not that simple
All sectors benefit from collective bargaining
Most if the clowns on O ‘ Connell bridge are farmers
Serous damage done already this week by guys with € 250 k tractors
An Beal bocht

@DaveDalyFM @culladgh @GardaTraffic The IFA and IRHA don't represent any of those protesting. Many small hauliers don't qualify for a haulage license and therefore don't qualify for rebates.
The tax on fuel simply needs to be cut.
English

@grhark @culladgh @GardaTraffic If every group with a grievance blocks up our roads .ie Builders , Taxi men etc we will get nowhere
The IFA and IRHA represent a large proportion of the transport sector
They are meeting the minister tomorrow
Those blocking up our streets have attracted a bad element
English

@DaveDalyFM @culladgh @GardaTraffic Farmers and hauliers use thousands of litres of fuel a week, far more than ordinary workers. They are disproportionately affected.
What "proper channels" are you referring to?
English

@grhark @culladgh @GardaTraffic I run a business
Don’t believe everything you read or hear
Fuel prices effect all
There are proper channels to pursue your grievance. I live in the real world
English

@DaveDalyFM @culladgh @GardaTraffic That's a very odd take. Do you realise what happens if nothing is done about the current fuel prices? Farmers and hauliers will be out of business within weeks. Supermarket shelves will be empty. You won't be able to put food on your table. You won't eat.

@conor_pope I enjoyed your article in the IT on Saturday
I recently did the same thing stay in London and Eurostar to Paris
We were ripped off by Taxi man in Paris from Train station , but outside of that it was generally good
Paris Very like NYC these days re tipping

Sky news don’t appear to know the difference between Dublin and Belfast
Reporting that Arnold Schwarzenegger was in Dublin today while going to his Belfast visit @SkyNews report
Am I missing anything here ?
English

@NewsMurray Interesting to see how that works
Maybe people pay by cash

It’s important to understand traffic congestion in Dublin is deliberate, it’s on purpose. The former city manager Owen Keegan re designed routes, no left turns, one ways and narrowing to make driving take longer. He called it Infinity Congestion Charging. rte.ie/news/2026/0324…

I have no idea what a “Taoiseach” is or even how to say it but I’m delighted the Irish have one.
Edward Luce@EdwardGLuce
Ireland's Taoiseach, Micheál Martin, showing admirable clarity and some courage in gently correcting Trump here about Starmer. Thankyou and Happy St. Patrick's Day.
