@DJRTistic Seems like Drake kind of knew about it betorehand and tried to beat her to the punch with Honestly Nevermind, but he never really stood behind that album.

I’ve said it before, but after playing songs from Renaissance last night, it’s pretty surprising that no other artists even halfway attempted to use that sound template, basically House/Dance, w/ some Afrobeats & Soul. In previous eras, artists were ALWAYS copycats to what worked
