Seeing students this excited to learn inspires me to keep going.
Dr. Arnaldo Díaz@ADiaz_PhD

The talk by @JosephineThinwa on the winding road of a physician-scientist was incredibly inspiring and left a lasting impression on the SURF/Amgen Scholars. Collaborating with such trailblazers, like Dr. Thinwa, whose science and journey inspires us forward, is a genuine honor.

TONIGHT ON AYMAN: Donald Trump is finally being held accountable by the justice system, and his followers are defending him at all costs. In contrast, Democrats cannot seem to agree on a united message. @DaveHendersonJD, @DeanObeidallah and @JillWineBanks are here to discuss.

.@DaveHendersonJD responds to a Central Park exoneree saying that Trump's guilty verdict is karma. "[It's] the beginnings of karma" but it may "not fully be the type of justice that we should receive."

"Speaking as a lawyer, I agree with former President Trump. He got an unfair trial. It was unfair in his favor because he was afforded luxuries that no one else would have been in his position." @DaveHendersonJD on Trump and his allies continuing to decry his victimhood

@DaveHendersonJD I would hire you as my attorney in a heartbeat. I was just thinking, if I had a black son, I would use Alvin Bragg as a role model, because I’m old school. Then I saw you on MSNBC discussing Bragg and chose you for the youngsters! 🤣 Keep representing! 👊🏽

@BrandonPrry It's excessive. Closing arguments should generally be limited to 20-30 minutes. It takes a lot to truly hold a jury's attention longer than that. The State should cap itself at 45 minutes. It won't, but it should.

Can't teach an old trial dog new tricks. Trump's lawyers are closing like the State went first. It didn't, which means nobody has laid out the case for the jury charge by charge. The defense should be doing that rather than jumping straight into argument. 1/3

The defense must connect the dots to show how Cohen's credibility problems nullifies the circumstantial evidence the State is heavily relying on. 3/3

That way, the jury could understand why Cohen's testimony can provide reasonable doubt. Repeatedly calling Cohen a liar is insufficient. That simply reiterates what the jury already knows--Cohen has credibility problems, which he admitted. 2/3
