Very similar experience in train from Cambridge to London just this Sunday. Confronted the anti-social scum and got the riposte "why don't you move instead?". My response was "because I'm not behaving like the antisocial cunt". The worst bit? This one and his mate were home-grown garbage, not imported.

I wonder if losing Runcorn might end up being the best thing that could happen to Labour right now. The clamouring for a wake up call is coming from many different directions. If this liberates the government to be bolder and faster and less scared of its own shadow that’s no bad thing.

By increasing use of the private sector Ministers are knowingly exposing patients to increased risk of harm. Ministers have now been told this by civil servants - the only response has been to axe NHSE and defund ICBs which are there to monitor the private sector's contracts.
