Tonight is my last night at @7News It has been an incredible ride the last 11 years and the best experience I could ever ask for. My two daughters were born in Boston, I saw multiple Super Bowls, a World Series at Fenway Park and an 18th banner. Sad to end. Thrilled it happened!

Danny Ventura, the face of high school sports in New England for over the last 30 years, is retiring from the Boston Herald in August. Ventura started at the Herald in 1991 and has since served as the go-to source for information for coaches, student-athletes, and ADs.
