Does exercising in hot weather (85-90 degrees) burn more calories than normal weather (70-75 degrees)?

@CryptosR_Us I love it when ppl are so confident daying the cold is better, but while working out you are producing energy to stay warm. When it is hot, your body needs to put more effort in cooling down, which makes your cardiovascular system put in more. This will lead to more cal. burned.

@PorterMetzger @Crypto_Guy360 @CryptosR_Us This is actually a misconception. Whenever you are working out in cold weather. The energy you are producing will heat you up. Your body does not need to produce extra energy, unless you are just sitting. Furthermore, extreme heat does burn way more than cold.

Cold environments burn more calories as your body needs to burn calories to maintain its internal temp. Sweating uses an incredibly small amount of calories and the evaporation of that sweat is what creates the cooling effect... Sweating results in short term weight loss bc ur body has perspired/dehydrated itself to attempt to cool down. That said being dehydrated can result in weight gain and it's generally unhealthy.
