has anyone else noticed a massive influx of new daily followers starting in early march? did something change with the recommendation engine? i went from 100-200 a day to 1000-3000 new followers a day for no apparent reason.
The Fed's "Dot Plot" shows that traders are pricing in a 4.25% interest rate in the year 2028!!
For 2026: 3.75% (25bps Hike)
For 2029: 4.50% (100bps Hike)
Time to kiss altcoin season goodbye until I'm Crypto Grandpa...
@MastrXYZ these are accounts that exclusively post successful content from other places like reddit and monetize it.
this is called stealing in the real world
@TomCrown Mistakes can happen, and yes, sometimes something gets reposted where the original source is genuinely hard to find.
But many big accounts are just lazy idiots who steal content, strip the credit, farm the engagement and act like they created something. Demonetize them now
the biggest accounts on X are arguing over “stealing” each others content without crediting.
but they don’t make the content, they just repost it and put their name on it
the whole situation is actually hilarious
WHY should they be able to monetize content they stole at all?
@HotepJesus its a legit shit show.
”you cropped XYZ’s water mark out and posted it! you removed the attribution!”
The watermark THEY PUT ON SOMEONE ELSES VIDEO WITHOUT CREDITING THEM
I've been stuck on 460,000 for over three weeks. According to Elon's own analytics say I should've broken 461,000 days ago. The math ain't mathin' numbnuts. #thegameisrigged
@TomCrown@lomaxx Over what time? The early 1900’s? >40% pay 0, and I’m sure you’re aware of all the metrics abt the top 1%, etc. No skin in the game doesn’t work. More importantly, it’s a fundamental fallacy that we have an income problem. More isnt tne answer, theres no end to more.
This is where the “tax the rich” crowd lose me.
Say I earn 90k a year and in 2027 I inherit $200,000
I invest that $200k and after 10 years in the stock market it’s now worth $400k
If I sell it and realise the $200k capital gain, what the govt and the “tax the rich” crowd are saying is that I should be taxed as if I make $290k every year.
Now if I try and split that CGT income across 2 people I’m “greedy” and avoiding tax
But if I sell down in 4x $100k lots over 4 years and minimise my tax, that’s ok and nobody bats an eyelid - but it’s the same principle.
Well, the data is out. According to @nikitabier's chart, I'm the 2nd highest source of content reshared by @Rainmaker1973, with around 1,700 of my posts. For years people accused me of being his shadow account because of how often this happened. His reposts pulled millions of views while the originals on my page got almost nothing. Grateful to @ViralRushX speaking up, and to @nikitabier and the X team for finally putting attribution on the table. Looking forward to the changes that reward original creators. 🙏
🚨 Nikita Bier just clarified X’s stance on reposted videos:
You can take videos from other platforms and be the first to post them on X.
What X doesn’t want is large accounts taking videos from other X users shortly after they post them and siphoning the impressions and revenue.
@CreeCoder it’s funnny because viralrush also just steals his videos and watermarks them, as if they are his creations.
MAYBE you shouldn’t be able to monetize content you didn’t make (AKA stole)
🚨 Nikita just removed Rainmaker1973, an account with 4.3M followers, from the X creator program for reposting content without proper attribution.
Using internal data Nikita says the account sourced 2,759 videos from ViralRushX over 6 months and recently cropped out a watermark on a viral dance video to avoid crediting the original creator.
If you’re removing watermarks or cropping videos to bypass X’s attribution system, expect to lose monetization soon.
The SpaceX IPO is the most brazen retail fleecing in modern market history.
NASDAQ has REWRITTEN the index rules specifically for this listing. The 10% minimum free float requirement: gone. The 3 to 12 month seasoning period before index inclusion: cut to 15 trading days. Companies with small floats can now be weighted at 3x their actual float.
Translation: every passive index fund, every 401k, every pension is about to be force-fed SPCX whether they want it or not.
And what exactly are they buying?
Class A shares carrying ONE vote each, while Musk holds 93.6% of the Class B super voting shares at TEN votes each. That gives him 85.1% of voting power on a 42% economic interest. He cannot be outvoted. He cannot be removed. CEO, CTO and board chairman simultaneously.
For reference: Zuckerberg controls 61% of Meta. Buffett 35% of Berkshire. Musk: 85.1%.
SpaceX is also claiming "controlled company" status, exempting it from needing a majority of independent directors. Shareholders waive the right to a jury trial. They waive the right to class actions. Mandatory arbitration only, courtesy of an SEC rule change pushed through on a party line vote last September.
$1.75 trillion valuation. $80 billion raise. Largest IPO in history.
The rules of the game were quietly rewritten so one man could extract maximum capital from retail while answering to no one.
