An incredibly emotional day for myself, so proud of @Boldmere_WFC who had to fight tooth and nail to overcome @LeafieldAthLFC today. A record breaking crowd full of fans from both clubs who should all be immensely proud of what was produced on the pitch today. One last dance UTM!

@Since71Blog The women’s game has moved too fast, not a bad thing at all but the fa have no clue of the standard of football at steps 3/4, and parents if your child hasn’t been on the bench for the first team by 18/19 they aren’t gonna make it at that club so get them playing elsewhere

Been sitting on this all afternoon but the anger at Sue Day’s comments has not subsided. If she genuinely believes her comments then she is out of touch with the women’s game and not fit for the role she occupies.

@MaccaD11 Raise levels get them into the pyramid much earlier at a lower competitive level and the best will climb to the top and the others won’t be left feeling they aren’t good enough, they’ll also appreciate the physical aspect you just don’t get at academy games

@MaccaD11 Is shocking, they are holding girls back and giving them false hope, looking down their noses at step 3/4 teams, telling girls they’re too good for that level then when releasing them asking those very clubs to take them on, they come broken and confidence shot, if you want to

Too many young players are not getting the opportunity due to the stigma around Tier 3…. Trust T3 clubs with young talent from WSL clubs rather than leading them to believe anything lower than WSL 2 is not aiding their development.

With teams confirming promotion/play off positions and being less than a month away from the end of the season the @FAWNL need to announce plans for the playoffs so that fans (& teams) can plan. Greater transparency is needed from the @FAWNL on what's going on....

20 mins. DOUBLE DIAMONDS RED CARD I have never seen anything quite like this. A coming together between Bruno and Tyler, not the first of the game, results in the two players being shown straight red cards! It's an absolute nightmare for Diamonds who now have 9 men and no forwards!
