@TheBlondePI @TaxLawProf My oldest was by far the top speller in the third grade. She was the first speller and they were starting them off easy, as they do. Her word: “smart” Her: (smug look on her face) smart…S A M R T….smart. She was mortified and swore she would never participate again.

The word that bumped me out was “almond” because she pronounced it “amen,” and I had no idea that I could ask her to use it in a sentence.

Emmanuel is completely isolated and we sanitize before and after entering and exiting his stall. Again, we have been fully compliant with the state. We know the risks and we are abiding by the rules put in place for our farm👍🏻 Thank you for the love and concern!

Just to clarify- I have taken every precaution recommended by the FDA. We have foot baths at every gate, feet must be dipped prior to and after walking into the pasture.

@InvisiblesMuros For context, lost my wife of 17 years a few weeks ago to cancer. She was from Bogotá. From one “gringo” to another, thank you for keeping me abreast of the goings on in my adopted second home.

Did a “thing” last night. P and I had lyrics from “our song” on our arms. Now that she’s gone, I had her part added to mine with our wedding date added. Plus added a tribute to my favorite Colombiana with a map of Colombia with Colombian colors. Miss you my love.

I never really got into audiobooks, but I do like to have something playing in the background while drawing and this might be a nice change of pace from YouTube playlists.
