This afternoon shook me. I seized a phone from a 15-year-old student during class, normal school rule. Phones aren’t allowed.
I told him calmly, “You’ll collect it after school.”
What happened next honestly left me worried about the future of this country.
Thank You For Coming To #Engage2026@yetunede

If a bank mistakenly paid $1M into your account and you are offered 1 year in jail and keep the money or return the money and be free
which option are you taking?
WTF Facts@mrwtffacts
In Nigeria, a bank accidentally paid $1M into this guy’s account. He went on a spending spree before eventually being caught. Authorities offered him an ultimatum: 1 year in jail or pay back the money. He chose jail.

Victor Osimhen 🇳🇬 recounts one of the most painful moments of his life during his time at Lille OSC:
“When I signed for Lille, my father’s health seriously deteriorated. I was always far away from him. Then at the beginning of COVID, he was hospitalized. I was alone in France. Football had stopped, airports were closed.
I kept calling my agent nonstop to arrange a private flight to Nigeria. I even obtained landing permission. All that was missing was approval from the club and my agent so I could travel. I kept waiting — again and again — while his condition worsened.
I started to panic, calling every hour, begging. That’s when I understood the dark side of football — the business side. They wanted to sell me. A transfer deal was being discussed and my former agent kept saying, ‘It’s complicated. Wait.’
I was losing my mind — I wasn’t sleeping anymore. One morning, after coming out of the bathroom, I looked at my mother’s photo beside my bed. I felt something was wrong. I started crying. There were 20 missed calls from my family. I called my brother on FaceTime. He said, ‘We lost him.’ Then he turned the camera toward my father and said, ‘You need to say goodbye.’
I threw the phone and completely lost control. I broke everything in the house. My neighbors came to check on me. In France, they were like family to me. One of them stayed with me for six or seven hours that day — he may have stopped me from making a big mistake.
What destroyed me the most was the guilt — all my father’s children and grandchildren were around him. The only one who wasn’t there was me. I was furious — I exploded — I thought, ‘If football is like this, what’s the point? I just want to be with my family.’
I called my former agent to ask if I could go to my father’s funeral. He said, ‘Go, but be back on Friday.’ I told him, ‘Friday? To hell with football. When I returned home, I truly thought I might never play football again — I was disgusted with everything.”
