@shawnrolland Better biking and transit connections would help. Currently the BRT stops a few blocks away (I’ve used it to go to the zoo with my 6 year old). Some promotion of this option, along with an improvement in the pedestrian experience might encourage more folks to ride MCTS to the zoo

Another reason why the county zoo entrance and ticketing experience needs to be different. People aren’t going to wait in their cars or in line for miles in both directions. It’s unsafe and we’re losing out on revenue.

@humantransit Wind farms in the US are almost always in rural areas, where locals tend to despise them. It’s partly aesthetics, and partly about a narrative of urbanites plundering and marring the rural landscape at the expense of rural dwellers. So, I see 47 as pandering to his rural base.

I always see wind turbines as inspiring and beautiful. I’m not sure how much of this is a genuine aesthetic attraction and how much is because I know what they’re achieving.
