The Deadly Cost of Ignorance. (Audio of my latest X article) I wrote this with genuine hope, to challenge all of us to think more deeply about what’s happening beneath the surface of the immigration debate. You don’t have to agree with my conclusions. But I do hope more Americans across the political spectrum will hear it, read it, reflect on it, and ask harder questions about the systems, incentives, and narratives shaping public opinion.

@JazzLead I'd rather the Jazz were horribly bad like last year than mediocre and in the middle. We need one more year in the lottery, <8 this year.

@Latterdaytruth The Liahona is just one of the a reasons the Lord has some of the prophets linger on earth as "translated" (love how Joseph used that word a lot) immortals.

I've always wondered about the Liahona. Did it magically appear and get placed near Lehi's tent, or did someone get told to make it and leave it there? I like to think someone out there has an untold story of forging the liahona, but obviously have no evidence. Have any of you wondered this too?

The LDS Church goes to great lengths to make sure its missionary program complies with entry requirements in any country it sends missionaries. Why? Because we, as members, believe in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law. An expectation of illegal entry into any country without consequence (not just the USA) is antithetical to that principle.

@JasontheLayman @hvworlton @IllariaDiMar The God made man we actually worship said “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.”

Every member of the LDS community worships and sings praise to the (con)man. They love his counterfeit versions of the word of God. (The heretical trifecta of the Book of Mormon, Pearl of Great Price, and Doctrines and Covenants.) Your cult also created a whitewashed version of his life, as well, instead of the well-documented criminal history he actually lived. To elevate an evil man and call him holy is even beyond worship. It's also blasphemous. I realize my words have little effect against the brick wall of smugness you hide behind, but perhaps the Lord can plead with you in your dreams someday soon. That's my prayer, anyway.

An old friend from high school is a pastor and I just saw him post that Mormons are Christians even though we have some different teachings and rebuked people from harassing missionaries which has been happening in the town where I grew up.

@sydala I think you guys are well prepared and never give up. That all comes down to coaching. However, I do think there’s been a little luck here and there, but every team needs that to have a special season.

You are either humble in seeking God’s will or prideful in seeking your own will (guided by the father of lies). There are Catholics who belong to Gods Church and Latter-day Saints who belong to the church of the devil. Some even go back and forth. Ultimately, God is the judge. Prophets are guides and teachers.

My husband asked me why we emphasized the BoM so much as being *especially* important to read. I personally think this is because it does such an excellent job of testifying that Jesus Christ is the Messiah and our Savior. Without the BoM I wouldn't even have a testimony of Christ!! I was taking conversion classes for Judaism before the missionaries showed up at my door. I'm so grateful for the BoM and so grateful for all of my LDS community.

@actsofapostles_ He’s replacing Charlie Kirk in some ways, which is disturbing to many because he’s triggering hate Charlie would not.

I think we are giving Pastor Mark too much oxygen. I'm not sure why we should be worried what he thinks. From what I know about him I'd be worried if we were closer to his views.
