@OgbeniDipo Dipo is calling for extrajudicial k1ll1ngs of anyone caught for terrorism, boldly and openly. Anyways, extrajudicial k1ll1ngs are wrong and shouldn't be allowed. We must rather strengthen our judiciary and its processes to ensure it's prompt and effective.

Terrorists, bandits and kidnapers caught in the act across South West should be killed by security forces. There should be no rehabilitation for these bastards.

Egypt’s total debt is estimated at over $400 billion, with a GDP around $390 billion — debt-to-GDP above 100%. South Africa’s debt is about $580 billion, with GDP around $420 billion — roughly 135% debt-to-GDP. Nigeria’s total public debt is about $110 billion, with a GDP around $340 billion — roughly 35% debt-to-GDP. Yet some people keep shouting that Nigeria is the “loan capital of the world.” To them: Loans are Haram. Education is Haram. Road construction is Haram. Power projects are Haram. Internet expansion is Haram. Railway modernization is Haram. Airport upgrades are Haram. Seaport reforms are Haram. Dams and agro-processing projects are Haram. Solar energy expansion is Haram. But the same people praise countries that borrowed far more aggressively to build infrastructure and grow their economies. The difference between productive borrowing and reckless borrowing is simple: what the money is used for. If loans are used to build roads, expand electricity, improve transport, increase internet access, modernize ports, support agriculture, and attract investment, those are long-term national assets. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu says the focus is on infrastructure that can improve productivity and economic growth across Nigeria. Criticism is normal in democracy, but opposing every single project simply because of politics helps nobody. Development is not the enemy. Underdevelopment is. Some people are no longer in any coven. They are simply online 24/7 wailing against everything.

@IamAroke Developers shouldn't be asking WHY if you have a good product process.. a product owner or manager or even founder shouldn't even build anything without knowing WHY and even checking viability. If developers are asking WHY, check your product processes.

@AnyanwuMalachy Who is helping the lady take care of the baby? Is she expected to work and take care of the baby full-time, or will the husband take care of the baby while she's working? Also, she needs at least nine months

My guy in the UK 🇬🇧 is frustrated. He just gave me a long call now. His wife gave birth 5 months ago and hasn’t returned to work, saying she’s still healing. Oya nau, while at home, go for remote jobs to support the family she ignores that option. Rather she focuses on "content creation" on TikTok that isn’t paying, while he carries all the bills alone, plus a ₦350k monthly allowance for his mother-in-law. Now this same mother-in-law is threatening him for “pressuring” her daughter to work, while she's still nursing a baby. She even declines the suggestion of GP appointments to really confirm her health status. Saying she just needs some time. He's so confused at the moment because he sees other women that gave birth in the same UK, and they resume work after 3-6weeks while arranging a nanny to take over. All the house bills are currently on him, and his wife isn't making life any easy because he doesn't even know when she tends to get back to normal work. All she keeps telling him is "give me more time to heal"...

@dammiedammie35 I read comments from people complaining. Didn't you see it was labeled a Muslim school before enrolling your wards? The same reason when I tell anyone complaining that a private school bans hijab, didn't you see it as a private school?

@Lanre_banjo During the years when PO took out a loan, those attending TOP school had good credibility. Coupled with other strong track records, this likely made the bank view them as a lower-risk borrower. Currently an individual can get an unsecure loan of 50k & businesses can get upto 750k

Senegal's crisis proved that borrowing trillions to artificially lower the cost of living leads straight to bankruptcy. Removing the subsidy is what stopped Nigeria from going over that exact same cliff 📉🔥.

Husband has two laptops One was given to him as a Work from home tool by the foreign bank he is working with The other was his personal laptop with him he handles his personal business. Wife’s father died in Nigeria Husband was not given leave at work to travel abroad Wife was as given compassionate leave Wife pleads with husband to please show his face at the funeral Husband decided to take the risk He mirrored the office laptop to his personal laptop Left it connected in such a way that he can work on it remotely using his personal computer and travelled with the family to Nigeria for work Wife was aware of the risk the husband took The plan was to travel to Nigeria on Friday and return to London on Sunday They got to Nigeria The husband set up his personal laptop at the hotel so that if any work call or email comes in he would attend to it immediately It worked He was able to work remotely and he was in the UK on Saturday morning After this he went to the burial rites, greeted members of the family and paid his respects to all and sundry When he got back to their room he discovered his laptop was gone It was not stolen He could see from all the disconnections and wires lying around that his wife took it He rushed to the car and drove furiously to the wife’s parent’s house to ask her for his laptop When he got there, he saw that his wife had handed it over to her older brother who had connected it to some amplifiers to play some of their father’s Fåvourite music to entertain her family He didn’t think it would be proper to disrupt such a solemn family moment So he went back to the hotel and waited anxiously for them to be done and for his laptop to be returned. At almost midnight, the laptop was returned By then the husband has gotten two messages from his team lead asking him where he was because he missed some tasks and his laptop indicated that he was in Nigeria He reconnected his laptop and tried very hard to do some damage control. He was livid and he didn’t fail to say so to his wife According to the wife he said “You betrayed my trust, you took my work computer without regards for my sacrifices and well being to play music in loving memory of your father. You could have hired a DJ or bought a laptop somewhere in Lagos. You knew the risk I took to be at this event with you and you decide to expose me this way. You better pray I don’t lose my job over this. If I as much as get a query, this marriage is over” Wife said she didn’t think that far. Her brother asked her if she brought her laptop because he had carefully made a selection of their father’s Fåvourite songs on a flash drive and would like to play it at the house after the funeral while his friends and family member were still around to commiserate with their mother. She said she went to the room to see if she could borrow her husband’s laptop and met his absence. So she just took it. Innocent mistake. They got back to the UK and husband’s job was terminated. Husband is asking for a divorce Wife is saying jobs are replaceable, a marriage is not. How can an innocent mistake be the cause of their divorce? Husband says the wife has always been like that Lacking an understanding of boundaries and willing to throw anybody under the bus to get her desired result in anything she wanted to do. He had told her he couldn’t travel because his office didn’t permit him She prevailed on him to take the risk and then destroyed his carefully built wall of protection by removing the laptop from its connection Wife said she didn’t intend to do any harm. Just to play some music with the laptop Husband said wife is deflecting and moved out of their apartment Wife is asking what the big deal is…

From June 1st, I will be heading the engineering and technical team of a health startup based in Lagos Nigeria (presently worth $20 million in valuation) I will be recruiting 10 people into the engineering team for the following positions. QAs Product Owners AI Engineers DevOps Software Engineers (Full Stack) That’s a lot of work for me to handle the recruitment process because we don’t have HR yet. I can only handle the technical interviews. Is there any recruitment agency you can recommend?

@Khanstillday Destroying ecosystems without zero intel wouldn't fix banditry and kidnappings. The current biggest type of kidnapping is attributed to herdsmen. To fix - immediately restrict grazing areas, provide massive training on ranching, & enforce ranching practices within a year.
