It is with great humility that I thank my neighbours in Bow River for sending a clear message: it's time to get to work rebuilding our country after 10 years of NDP-Liberal destruction. Canada's future is bright and the work begins today. 🇨🇦

The Battle of Vimy Ridge was a defining moment in our country’s history. On April 9, 1917, Canadian soldiers stood together, fought together, and did what many thought was impossible. Their courage, sacrifice, and unity helped shape Canada into the country we know today. Those men gave everything on that ridge so we can live in a free country. We remember their courage. We honour their sacrifice.

It's easy to look at Marilyn Gladu's long history of unabashedly conservative positions and be surprised at her decision today, but the kind of person who would abandon their principles overnight for a whiff of power clearly belongs with the Liberals.

I got into politics to fight for what I believe in. I ran for the Conservatives under @pierrepoilievre's leadership because they wanted (and want) the same things. The people of Elgin—St. Thomas—London South elected me as part of that team. I'm here to serve everyone in the community and advocate for the policies and values that got me elected. Lest there be any doubt, I'm not crossing the floor. Mark Carney is clearly comfortable surrounding himself with people who would trade their principles for power. I'm not one of them.

Mark Carney is seizing a costly Liberal majority that voters denied him, and doing so through backroom deals. In January, MP Gladu said that floor crossers should face voters in a byelection to give voters the final say. I could not agree more. She should do so. The people in her community voted for our Conservative vision of a Canada that is affordable, safe, and strong at home, not for the costly Liberal government she has now joined. She should honour her word and let voters decide.

Reflects poorly on both. Gladu for obvious reasons. But if ever one needed proof that Liberal principles are first and foremost about the acquisition of power and not a coherent set of values and perspectives, it's accepting an unapologetic conservative like Gladu into caucus
Mark Carney@MarkJCarney

At this important moment for our country’s future, Canadians with a broad range of experience and perspectives are uniting to build Canada strong. I am honoured to welcome Marilyn Gladu today as the newest member of this government and our Liberal caucus. In a time of global economic uncertainty, Canada’s success will depend on how we build ambition into progress and strengths into sustained advantage. Marilyn brings the practical, results-driven leadership this effort demands. Having spent decades of her career in engineering and international business, she understands what it takes to create good jobs, strengthen supply chains, and ensure Canadian industry can compete in a rapidly changing global economy. She has been elected by the people of Sarnia—Lambton–Bkejwanong in four straight elections since 2015, and repeatedly earned recognition from colleagues across Parliament for her proven willingness to work constructively across party lines. I’m looking forward to working closely with Marilyn to build a stronger and more independent Canadian economy, meeting the challenges of a changing world with lasting opportunities for all.

The Liberal Finance Minister says he recused himself from the $90 billion ALTO project back in September 2025... but there's no public record of any recusal with the Ethics Commissioner. Six months later, he’s promoted the project in Senate testimony. He’s voted on it in the House of Commons. It’s even included in the very budget he tabled. When $90 billion of taxpayer money is on the line, transparency isn’t optional. Tell Canadians the truth, Minister.

“The Mandarin Bloc is back in the Liberal Party’s wheelhouse “What I’ve been writing about in the matter of the Carney government’s abasement at the feet of Chinese supreme leader Xi Jinping feels like Groundhog Day. It’s like 2015 all over again, and we’re supposed to just forget about the series of debilitating national security crises this country went through over the past ten years.” - @TerryGlavin

The thing CSIS calls a “sophisticated, pervasive and persistent” threat to Canada's national security is now co-piloting Ottawa's strategic partnership with Beijing. Not quite ready to keep my trap shut about it. therealstory.substack.com/p/abandoning-c…

The Liberal finance minister claims he recused himself in September 2025 of the $90 billion Alto project, for which his wife is the vice president. Yet here he is promoting the project in Senate testimony 6 months later. And here he is voting for it in the House of Commons. There it is in the budget he presented. And there is no recusal record on the Ethics Commissioner’s website. Nothing adds up. $90 billion is at stake. Tell the truth, Minister.

Mr. Prime Minister—you are getting up to $9 billion in windfall revenues from high oil prices. That money does not belong to you. Give it back. Stop taxing gas. Save families $1200 at the pumps this year.

Canadians expect decisions to be made in the public interest.

I’ve asked the Ethics Commissioner to investigate whether the Finance Minister breached the Conflict of Interest Act in relation to Alto.

Canadians deserve clear answers. 1/2

A Jewish-owned restaurant shot at during Passover, the 12th antisemitic attack in this wave of hate. This is sick. After years of weak leadership, antisemitism is rising without consequence. We must stamp it out and make Canada safe for Jewish people, and all Canadians, to once again live and worship freely.

NEW: Mark Carney wants to weaken Canada's transparency laws to keep Liberal party fundraisers secret from the public. It’s clear what the Liberals are prioritizing. They aren’t focused on making life more affordable for Canadians… they are focused on themselves. Mark Carney is just another Liberal!
