This is unacceptable. Either Minister McGuinty didn't know, which is failure of leadership, or he did know and is lying to Canadians. As Minister of National Defence, he is regularly briefed, and has the ability to get briefed as frequently as he requests. This should be his first priority especially when our troops may be in harms way. It appears that once again the Liberals are changing their stories to cover up their incompetence. I will be holding the Minister to account next week in Parliament.

This is what Canada needs! A government that stops trying to run everything out of Ottawa and control your life. Instead: Let people live their lives and buy and sell things freely. A government that does a few things well, instead of too many things poorly.

You could see this coming a mile away. It's Mark Carney's 5th flip-flop. @MarkJCarney, @DavidMcGuinty & @AnitaAnandMP are just not serious people. Canada is governed by amateurs.

No question, @PierrePoilievre did a fantastic job representing our country and our nation's interest on the most listened to podcast in the world. He was charismatic, eloquent, humble, and respectful, even towards his political adversaries. Honestly, it'll make Americans think Canada is some kind of political paradise compared to the decorum and discourse they're used to. Overall, it'd be hard to look at his trip to the US as anything but a resounding success, in an otherwise tough start to the year. But rebuilding momentum takes time and this was a step in the right direction.

It is an unambiguously very good thing to have a pro-trade, anti-tariff conservative voice speaking to the Joe Rogan audience about the virtues of the Canada-US relationship. Pierre is an excellent communicator and will connect with that audience in a way that will benefit Canada
