I’ve known Pierre a long time…..and this is who he is. He understands what regular Canadians are facing because “his people” are normal people… him parents, his family, his friends are Canadian facing the stress and challenges most Canadians face. He fights for normal Canadians because those are the people he knows, understands and loves.

Hope. For all those who need it.

Mexico started their formal negotiation on CUSMA this week. Crickets from Canada. We can keep bemoaning "tone and sentiment" from the White House. But that does nothing to advance our interests with our largest trading partner and security ally. #cdnpoli

The Liberal Defence Minister went to 15Wing Moose Jaw to announce the Carney Govt will ground our beloved RCAF Snowbirds. He then posted this tone-deaf video, set to upbeat music, portraying this terrible event as joyous, and showing how the Carney Govt forced the whole Snowbird team to stand behind these Liberals as Canada learned this proud, excellent team of patriots will soon be unemployed. Disgraceful. Save Our Snowbirds!

A reminder that this is Canada and the Liberals’ much-touted Bill C-9 doesn’t actually make any of this illegal. It’s window dressing, not legislation. Governments reap what they sow. Congratulations guys, you’ve fuelled this fire, you’ve funded it, you’ve cheered it on.

I tried asking APTN what their involvement is in the CBC "prank show." Their comms director accidentally sent me an internal email stating that they were going to ignore my inquiry because I'm just a lowly Canadian citizen and not a media outlet (not that they will give a sufficient answer to the media either.) I followed up and asked who I can contact then, and they just didn't respond. It's actually crazy that these taxpayer-supported institutions think that they don't need to answer to anyone. They don't even think I deserve a modicum of an answer to my questions, even though they shouldn't be difficult to respond to.

🚨 BREAKING: Liberals vote AGAINST our Conservative motion to protect the private property rights of Canadians. Mark Carney and the Liberals have refused to defend private property rights in the courts causing major uncertainty in British Columbia….and set to spread across Canada. Conservatives will ALWAYS fight for families and businesses facing uncertainty. We will put YOUR property rights first!

CBC is using taxpayer money to defame Sir John A. Macdonald, deceive people for 'wrongthink', and shame women and men who've served Canada in the RCMP. Canadians shouldn't be on the hook for this unpatriotic propaganda.

Where Carney explains that his plan to put a big new carbon tax on Canadian steel won’t cost people because…he says… people don’t really need steel. This is up there with “the budget will balance itself.” He is Just Like Justin: justlikejustin.ca/mark-carney/

COUNTDOWN ALERT: Important vote on YOUR home ownership/property rights. Today at 3pm EDT, 12pm PDT, MPs will vote on a Conservative motion to protect private property rights in all claims proceedings. How will your MP vote? The Cowichan decision created significant t uncertainty around private property rights after the Liberals ordered government lawyers NOT to defend home ownership rights. Our motion would reverse that decision. Add your name to the petition to stand up for property rights: conservative.ca/cpc/protect-pr…

I don't believe Carney is an antisemite. You don't live/work where he did and get away with that. But he knows that progressive politics - which includes much of his Liberal Party - has now fully succumbed to antisemitism. So he nods to it. That's worse, to me. It's antisemitism that's motivated by cynicism, not belief.

After an ethnic media reporter said most extortion arrests involve first-time offenders, Poilievre replied: "I don’t care. They should get mandatory prison sentences of 10 years." "We need to kick the [foreign] extortionists, the gangsters out of our country," he added.

This is yet another example of how CBC newsrooms no longer practice objective journalist standards. You admit you have a letter but won’t release the names of the signatories because the signatories want the contents out but not their names… which means the news outlet is aiding political strategy / objectives as opposed to public interest and transparency. There used to be a time when anonymous sources were used incredibly sparingly, basically only in cases where a source was at risk of serious harm or if national security would be compromised.
Brian Lilley@brianlilley

14 Liberal MPs write a letter critical of Carney. CBC gets it and writes this. "Despite signing their names at the bottom of the letter, the MPs do not want to be publicly identified," CBC writes. No names released. This would not happen to Poilievre. cbc.ca/news/politics/…

Private capital isn’t avoiding pipelines because the business case vanished. It’s avoiding Canada because governments turned approvals into a political minefield. When investors can spend billions elsewhere with fewer delays, lawsuits, and moving goalposts, they will. Then Ottawa pretends the lack of investment proves the project never made economic sense in the first place.
