@Footballtweet Well the strange thing with the real Ronaldo is you are right and wrong. I mean: his skills were great but certainly not the best. There are a better strikers. What elevated him however was his pace & physicallity. It made him unstoppable, brute force, a steamroller :-)

@Vintage77Ball This looks like a reasonable list, the top 3 is correct. Maybe swap Rijkaard and Bergkamp with each other. While I love DB - his goals are pieces of art and his touch majestic - Rijkaard won more. Most Dutch would place Wim van Hanegem in the top 10 too btw.

@andreespin @FootballTalkHQ Yeah I know, Europe was too cold for him, especially Eindhoven. Barcelona suited him better. Still, he wasn't too negative about his time in Holland later. I mean he won a lot here. So he came back a few times and when Dutch tv shows visit Brazil he is always willing to talk.

Back then he seemed a quiet family man 😂 Always said in Dutch: 'Ik ben een beetje moe' (I'm a little tired), slept a lot, missed trainings but always scored. His 1st season at Barca he netted even more goals than in Eredivisie.

@DavidBremmer @FootballTalkHQ in Brasil we are not only fans of the player but also his personality out of the pitch, he didn't like training, party guy, in matches he always called the responsibility to him. An amazing player during the 90's, with 40 or 41 he was the top score in a season, playing for Vasco

@FootballTalkHQ Marco van Basten was definitely a better striker too. That said: Romario is great, I quite like him and his attitude too. He was better than some of those names he mentioned (Bebeto, Rivaldo, Suarez, Neymar) but not the other ones....

@TheAwayFansVids They are hard to compare. As a striker MVB was more complete. Technically so skilled, velvet touch, could score with right foot, left, head... But R9 in his prime was more dominant. His pace and dribbling made him unstoppable. He was more than a no 9.

@FootballTalkHQ This commentator is really talking shit... The striker is on full speed, it was really not that strange he didn't shoot already. And yes I do like a tactical red card as well, but this was a very dangerous tackle, doing a scissor... The striker could be injured for months 🙄
