The Tesla Model Y L is nearly $16,000 USD ($22K AUD) cheaper than the base level Kia EV9 in Australia.

@techAU True, but the 4pm deadline is for the maximum price tomorrow. If you lock in maximum $2.99 by 4pm but play around with pricing as long as you’re below $2.99 then technically no rules have been broken? 🤷🏻‍♂️

@DavidCaoEV Right, but you shouldn't be able to change it either right, up or down, otherwise the 4pm deadline means nothing.

Ok would love to know more about this. Victoria mandates you lock in prices by 4pm the day before but this BP servo updated at 8:38am.

@KiwiEV Wow, it’s an actual integrated fridge/freezer and not just aircon vent redirected at the cubby storage bin. Very impressive!

I love that I can leave the fridge/freezer running while I go to the shops. Better not take too long because I've set it to -15°C 😅 This is a new electric car I'm reviewing called the Aion V. 510km range, $47990 NZD. Must say I'm impressed with the value of this thing. Full review coming soon.

This new electric car from China has a fridge, massaging everything, 510 km of range AND lie flat seats. This means you could possibly do a Police Academy and drive from the back seat. 😂 It's called the Aion V and at $48k (28k USD) it's not bad value. Video review coming soon.

@13arm13arm Box gutters are such a pain to clean. Good idea with the vacuum. I used a Cyclone gutters tool to get access.

@Saichoticc @Tesla A recently produced used EV on discount is a great option. I bought my Model S ex-lease from Tesla and it’s been rock solid for the 8 years I’ve had it and should serve well for many years to come.

The specs of the Model Y L looks mega. Great range (681km WLTP). Should be a winner with the SUV loving Australian market. If ever my Model S needs to be replaced, I will strongly consider it. @Tesla

@Saichoticc @Tesla The Model S is an amazing car. Model 3 and Y are the way forward though. I'm extremely fortunate to have the Model S as a daily driver and will try to keep it running for a long time to come (spare parts availability and insurance affordability permitting)

Really bummed they no longer sell the Model S in Australia it's such a nice car but clearly to Tesla it doesn't make commercial sense M3 and MYs on the 2nd hand market will also improve affordability for first time EV adopters The present is electric and the future is autonomous
