I can’t explain to you how it feels. 2.5 years ago my dad’s eyes, hands and feet were tied up and he was dragged to a country he fled from. That image crushed me. Just to get a sense of how past two days have affected us: my 11yr old niece is frightened, isn’t eating. My 2 year old niece jumps at any loud sound & we play pretend with her is that a big or small plane sound? My mother just keeps reciting short prayers. My cat is in hiding
