President Trump thinks he has time. He doesn't. EO's are transient. Family table issues are going to determine the midterms and whether he will be a lame duck with no legacy. Delaying the inevitable military action in Iran does him no good. Iran is banking on this to survive.

@Jules31415 Why can't Stefanik say, 'we all know Trump is about hyperbole and over the top comments. He types before he thinks and never edits comments. He does it because people like you clutch pearls and look like fools.' She won't because he will attack her, he is so thinned skinned.

Rep. Elise Stefanik spars with CNN's Jake Tapper: Tapper: It's interesting that a 20-year-old college kid yelling 'from the river to the sea,' that's worthy of condemnation, but a President of the United of the States who actually has-" Stefanik: "You don't think it's worthy of condemnation? Of students that are targeting Jewish students? That are physically assaulting them? That are spitting in their face?" Tapper: "I don't need a lesson on what it's like to be a Jewish student...but when it comes to a President threatening to wipe out an entire civilization, you're applying two different standards." Stefanik: "He's targeting the Iranian terrorist regime; everyone seems to understand that except CNN...bringing this terrorist regime to its knees." Tapper: "Yeah, I'm not supporting the terrorist regime...I just think the call for genocide on a college campus and a call for genocide made by the President of the United States, like, they're both bad." Stefanik: "I've condemned genocide across the board...President Trump didn't call for genocide, Jake. You are putting those words in his mouth...He's targeting the terrorist regime." Tapper: "But that's not what he said."

@JesseKellyDC If he was told that airpower would be enough to bring them to their knees he was seriously misled. History shows that of Germany had to be obliterated to remove the cancer that was Nazi Germany. Fanatics are no different whether they be National Socialist or fervent Islamists.

@SouthernKeeks Did they cover independents in this study? I ask because it is about 1/3 of Americans and that is fairly significant.

@kathleenmadigan you said you were taught in second grade? I guess that's where JD Vance and you differ. He moved beyond his 2nd grade teaching, whereas you did not.

@kathleenmadigan Infallible? Thou shalt have no other gods before me. He is man born of sin, therefore he is a sinner and therefore is not infallible.

@SouthernKeeks To be fair Harry didn't say long it takes for his party to hold people accountable. Nor did he say that only if it potentially harms his party's chances of being iced out in a top two primary system. I mean yeah in that case accountability reigns supreme.

@Fair_and_Biased Sorry he was raised Presbyterian and claims to be non-denominational. He is at least tangentially aware of what the meme represents. He doesn't apologize and has never been sorry for anything (his own words). Easier to lie than show contrition.

I don’t think Trump thought he was depicting himself as Jesus, but I can’t quite believe he thought it was just a doctor meme, either. The truth probably lies somewhere in the middle. Trump made this error and has Paula White as an advisor bc he just doesn’t take Christianity very seriously. I’m glad that he answered questions and deleted the post, but I’d like to see him grow in biblical knowledge and discernment.
Allie Beth Stuckey@conservmillen

I do believe that he didn’t think of this as a depiction of Jesus when posting. Still, there has to be more care and discernment here.

@gatsby_grate @SouthernKeeks I concede the point but as the original poster has stated and I in spirit agree, there is something noble and right about not voting for either choice in a binary voting system. Futile perhaps, but virtuous nevertheless. And this is coming from someone who voted for this man.

Any Christian should recognize that a Christian who posts this is in the wrong. The clear conclusion here is what has been very clear for a while: Trump is not a Christian. I’m not sure why it took so many of you (specifically Catholics) this long to figure this out.

@TheModerateCase Pope's always espouse these things. Most leaders nod and move along. Except when the President in power has the smallest penis in the history of the world and must over compensate with ad hominem attacks and overcompensating hyperbole.

A political pope will be met with political responses and backlash. Get over it, or tell your pope to keep quiet. There are too many cult-like Catholics who believe this man holds some sort of authority, and that anyone who defies him is somehow evil or satanic.

@realDonaldTrump quick question. If Iran is done as you claimed this morning on Fox News, then why didn't they accept your terms?

@FrankLuntz Perhaps a few followup poll would be interesting. Would you consider the end of the NATO alliance? If 36% think we are the enemy, how many of that 36% would be willing to end the treaty?

Only 12% of people polled last month in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, and Spain see America as a close ally. Meanwhile, 36% see the U.S. as a threat. For comparison, China is seen as a threat by 29% of people polled in the same six countries. politico.eu/article/poll-e…
