🚨🇫🇷🇱🇧 France putting a serious proposal on the table for Lebanon: Lebanon recognizes Israel for the first time in history. Israel withdraws from the south. Hezbollah disarmed. Lebanese Army deploys to the Litani. International monitors in place. Non-aggression agreement to formally end 78 years of war. Lebanon has accepted it as a basis for talks. Israel and the U.S. are reviewing it. The Lebanon front has an off-ramp. Whether anyone takes it depends entirely on Washington. Axios

🇫🇷🇱🇧🇮🇱 The French proposal being reportedly examined by Israel and the U.S. could lead to a ceasefire with Hezbollah and potentially end the state of war between Israel and Lebanon Key elements of the reported plan include: -Lebanon would begin a process of recognizing Israel. -The Lebanese Army would deploy south of the Litani River. -Hezbollah would be disarmed with international monitoring. -Israel would withdraw from newly captured territory within a month. -Talks on a permanent non-aggression pact could start. If negotiations move forward, sources say a broader agreement ending the war between Israel and Lebanon could be signed within about 2 months. Source: N12

Father Pierre al-Rahi, a Maronite Catholic priest, was killed after an Israeli tank shell struck a home in the Christian-majority village of Qlayaa in southern Lebanon amid clashes with Hezbollah. He was known for singing the “Hail Mary” to his congregation in Syriac.

Syriac Maronite Mass on Sunday morning in the village of Debel, in southern Lebanon. The Syriac Maronite Christians of Debel, on the Israeli-Lebanese border, refused to leave their village despite evacuation orders, air strikes and rockets flying back and forth between Israel and the Iranian-backed militia Hezbollah.

In the current context, we are seeing an actual “short circuit” of #HumanRights. The right to freedom of expression, freedom of conscience, religious freedom, and even the right to life are being restricted in the name of other so-called new rights, with the result that the very framework of human rights is losing its vitality and creating space for force and oppression. This occurs when each right becomes self-referential, and especially when it becomes disconnected from reality, nature, and truth.

ISWAP released an image of one of the Christian villages in Adamawa State burning, alongside a statement saying that all Christians in Nigeria are legitimate targets, and they have an opportunity to "spare their blood" by converting to Islam or paying the jizyah tax to ISWAP.

ISWAP attacked a third Christian village in Adamawa State in the span of a few days, seemingly retaliation to the US airstrikes against IS-Sahel in Sokoto State, this time no Christians were killed but the village of "Higa" was set ablaze yesterday, with over 50 houses burnt.

1S burns another 100 Christian homes in Nigeria, and a church. This brings the total to more than 200 burned homes, one church, and around 20 Christian deaths in just three days. This comes as revenge following the American bombing that targeted 1S sites in Nigeria days ago

1S1S have begun taking revenge against Christians in Nigeria following the airstrikes that President Trump ordered against them. More than 100 Christian homes were burned in the past two days alone and this is unprecedented, as 1S used to target only 3 to 10 Christians per year
