Last week Professor David Detomasi welcomed Mr. Stephen Buffalo, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Indian Resource Council of Canada (@IRCCanada) to join his Master of International Business class on Business & the Global Economy. “Queen’s and Smith have made a commitment to pursue and promote real reconciliation with our Indigenous peoples," he says. I wonder if the Federal government will hold themselves to the same standard? Should they be held criminally liable for "misleading" the public with claims of accomplishments they did not actually reach? Just a thought ...

Bill C-59 says it is trying to stop "greenwashing", or the publication of inaccurate information about corporate achievements in improving environmental performance. It makes companies criminally liable if they violate some vague undefined standard of accuracy ....
