just got an average retention rate of 64.2% in a niche where it's 14.8%. → both from the same niche → same upload strategy → one variable: the hook at normal speaking pace, 50 words is 20 seconds. youtube's own data shows 1 in 5 viewers leaves in that window. and most faceless creators are burning those 50 words saying nothing. so i broke down the ENTIRE hook engineering system behind that 64.2% number, the same system i forced into claude opus 4.8... here's what's inside: → the 2 hook frameworks (character-concept-stakes vs target-transformation-stakes, and why running the wrong one for your content type is the exact thing that collapses retention at 20 seconds) → the 4 hook types by format (in media res, the contradiction hook, the direct question, problem agitation, and the precise moment each one fires) → the psychological triggers (curiosity gap, forbidden knowledge, dramatic stakes, specificity bias, loss aversion, the levers that make a viewer unable to scroll past second three) → the 6 hook killers (credential dumping, jargon overload, generic openings, weak stakes, the silent retention leaks bleeding out of EVERY script you've written) → the templates (real bad-to-good rewrites for every framework and every hook type, so you can see the fix, not just the rule) → the claude opus 4.8 skill file setup (how all of it loads into claude via FacelessOS, 16 skill files that write the hook for you instead of you rewriting 80% of the output) all backed by 7,000+ scripts across 50+ niches, 150M+ views, and a 64.2% vs 14.8% live retention comparison from the same niche. like + comment "SCRIPTS" and i'll send it over (must be following + RT for priority access) will stop sending these out in 24h

@tubegenai Topic selection. Most likely his current audience that YT is showing the video to doesn’t resonate with it at all. ZOO is fat from a typical cash machine. People who want to buy a zoo are passionate about animals not money.

@tryahdd The best source for script writing are other people’s outlier videos. Plus AI can explain the mechanisms in it if needed.

since YouTube rolled out its Collaborators feature, i’ve been wondering how much it can actually help a channel to grow i mean, it clearly adds “social proof” and makes the video feel more branded / networked but does it actually increase views? like what’s the ultimate goal with this feature?! 😭

@seergioo_gil Somehow this topic is going viral for so many channels. They all copy each other and still reach hundreds of thousands of views in a few days.

making 500k views in 5 days with AI is crazy (at $5 rpm that’s ~$2k) but you know what is crazier? that anyone can replicate it in 30min of his time: 1- paste his video URL inside Calliopelabs 2- add some more references, label them correctly (recommended) 3- copy the prompt of the Steps 2, send it to Claude, make a script 4- paste that script on Calliope 5- generate the scenes 6- review / regenerate some (optional) + render (cloud rendering, ultra fast ~1min) EXTRA: generate a thumbnail by pasting his channel URL + attaching your Calliope video using “/“ in the Chat no prompt needed, Calliope keeps the context of your video internally ! 30 min is what the tool takes to generate the scenes , but i recommend to put effort on the script writing , ideation, and topic decisioning.

what this channel is achieving is a major milestone for AI content creation 440k views in 3 days!!! 20k subs (only 15 videos) difficult? NO: just an AI slideshow video with good character consistency + a good topic is enough!! i noticed two more things: 1- he is using AI scripts, yes, but he adds human expressions in between (very polished script, very good job) 2- he is collaborating with two of his other channels, apparently leveraging that audience to grow faster this guy is proving that you don’t need high skills to start a successful channel these days AI is democratizing high-value content creation, not distributing slop what does “high-value content” mean to you? because for social media algorithms and advertisers, engaging content is high-value content

The power of a good script 🤭. Anyone that watches my video wouldn't guess that I used AI 😂. My friend watched four of my videos today and was screaming for part two. 32 minutes video btw.

Lessons from video 1 applied to video 2: - Every video needs a payoff - Use “you” only for immersion or universal truths, not presumptions - Viewers have to arrive at self-recognition themselves - Title and thumbnail need serious work. Don’t rush them

Publishing the first video fast gives you a huge psychological boost. It moves you from someone talking about Youtube, to an actual creator. That’s already a win So what do you do when it flops? Don’t overanalyze. Create another one It's likely to flop. It did for me too

The most important thing to do when starting Youtube: Get the first video out asap. Don't compromise quality, but don't delay it either. Aim for "good enough" There are a lots of unknowns. The best way to find them is by creating and posting 1st video = 1st data point

Publish a lot. When you start quantity is more important than quality. Avoid inauthentic content See what’s working for you, what’s getting traction. Double down on winning topics and format Stay consistent. Keep analyzing outliers. Eventually you'll get good, monetized and win
