Grenfell was tragic ‘but everyone dies in the end’, says Reform’s new housing chief trib.al/QjFdtr6

Liam Rosenior is a totally talentless manager who should be nowhere near the Chelsea under 21's job let alone the 1st team. It's so bad that not only should he be sacked but anyone involved in his appointment should also go.

Two masters comparing notes… Some knowing nods. A few cheeky winks of acknowledgement. Rugby legends, Jonny Wilkinson and Brian O’Driscoll may have played for opposing nations but they both share a similar lens of the game. The ball sent up high… “I could tell the ball was gonna dip a few feet in front of me. I could sense with the rotation of the ball…” O’Driscoll explaining what he saw - a rich visual palette separating him from the rest. The perceptual-cognitive side of sport… And then Jonny Wilkinson with sublime technique that delivers a little skill…the spiral bomb…ball tipping, moving inconsistently in the air, a flailing O’Driscoll desperately trying to read its trajectory. And all this without opposing players…15-18 stone monsters…sprinting and crashing their way towards O’Driscoll. Read the game, adapt the action…read the game, adapt the action…(see here for a good Sport Psych Show podcast on this: buff.ly/01tTRhy) Two masters comparing notes. Their brains wired to see what others don’t and what others can’t. And that’s why it’s so important for ambitious players to train and think, train and reflect, train and critique…train and build knowledge…train and wire their brain…train and become extraordinary… (My new book, Compete, out in May, will help players to improve their ability to pay attention in moments such as this)
