And the FARA stuff is even more inflated. FARA is not triggered just because foreign money, shell entities, or crypto exist somewhere in the picture. It is about acting in the US as an agent of a foreign principal, under its direction or control, in a covered political or PR activity. That is a specific statutory framework, not a cinematic threat word. So yes, reckless critics should be careful. If someone invents facts, fabricates evidence, or states speculation as certainty, they can get themselves into real trouble. But this post deliberately blurs that line and tries to turn ordinary hostile commentary about a notorious public figure into some grand covert criminal-information operation. In plain English, it is a legal scare-post that is weak against anyone who sticks to documents, quotes filings accurately, distinguishes allegation from proof, and keeps receipts.
