For those who think the list of doctors who will tie a woman's tubes without conditions is ridiculous, my then partner had to give his permission for my tubal before my doctor would agree. Another pregnancy would have killed me only a few weeks in, and I was in a DV situation.

@Liter8ure I'm all for "Al inspiration" to communicate a concept, about like a crooked stick figure on the back of a napkin, but they just want to Photoshop the ai art??

Just to clarify, I didn't want to work with anyone using AI, and they took offense to me thinking they even would. But I've talked to 5 or 6 artists now only for them to tell me to send them AI inspiration they can alter those photos.

I asked an artist if they use any AI in their work (nothing on any of their stuff says either way), and they yelled at me in the snottiest text voice possible 😭. A simple "no" would have been just fine.

@Liter8ure Because you have no control over your characters whatsoever and they want to LIVE! or die, depending in the character and chapter. Or love, also depending on the characters and chapters.

I'm going to give an absolute monster of a second book to my publisher. Because tell me why I added another chapter?!?

I did not totally fall off my exercise bike and knock my laptop onto my face when I fell because I jumped at my own shadow 😅😂😭. That was dumb, and there were witnesses. Plural. Writing while exercising is very hazardous.

Books do not all have to be literary masterpieces with life-changing themes in order to be considered valid. Books that are purely for entertainment and comfort purposes are valid, too. Just because a book is meant to be read for fun doesn't make it any lesser than.

@Liter8ure I'm not familiar with paradise one, but has she read the Andy Weir books yet? They're fantastic writing. I'd recommend Project Hail Mary.
