The thing that gets me about Badenoch is how all the political commentators underestimated her. Many treated her with contempt and she’s proving them all wrong. Women who’d paid attention to her attitude and willingness to speak out for women didn’t, we knew she was impressive. I’m not even a Tory but I think she’s brilliant.

I welcome the meeting at @10DowningStreet and all the good will in evidence from the attendees. Many of the ideas spoken about today are in the recommendations of the Commission on Antisemitism. Published nearly a year ago its asks were designed to implemented within 12 months. What we need is comprehensive action now. Today @LordJohnMann and I have announced we review Government progress next month. This is a crisis and it needs to be treated as such. @BoardofDeputies
