This indie developer is making a Survival Horror dungeon crawler in a Cyberpunk-Fantasy setting, with these being variants of the playable characters. It's called Tamara, do you like the look?

@DavidKayConrad Also totally off topic, but is there any upcoming content for Project Warlock 2 like new characters? I just unlocked Realmshift mode and it's incredible, but I feel like I need more lmfao.

So about Mixtape... I'm a huge nineties nostalgia nerd but I watch the footage and I feel nothing. Doesn't look or feel like nineties at all. It could at least take some cues from classic game graphics. We had cool interactive movies back then and this looks nothing like those.

@EvilReFlex @DemonsRevival I also experimented with something like this long ago. I made the models first and then used coloured directional lights to get the normal mapped sprite. will have to return to that idea one day. Also is that pfp from Chewy?

They're just 2D sprites, but we're faking volume with a small trick using normal maps. Look how the lighting brings out the shape. #indiegame #gamedev

@SomeDegener8 I'll need to add the disclaimer that mouse keyboard is not optimal. we recommend controller with modern mode or keyboard only with tank controls

@DavidKayConrad it takes a while to get used to the mouse & keyboard controls, and even then the camera shifts screws you up in the deeper parts of the demo.

@DavidKayConrad Starting the game Ripley-style I see. In a shirt and panties. At least this time around no poor sod had to manually remove in post-production any pubes, like that poor guy in one of the og Alien movies.

The Safe For Work player model looked a bit weird and glitchy so it has been fixed and improved in the today's update. You can get the updated demo here: david-kay.itch.io/tamara Why do we even have an optional SFW player model? Well, There are w few reasons.
