I'm resting after work, drinking coffee and watching my Settlers. And so I think - how much heart and work was put into this game and how beautiful it is and how wonderfully the music harmonizes with the image. And how much those who don't work (on this clip) irritate me.

@Convell4 @lowPolyMonsters @CodeRed_dev It's not easy to "just" put in another viewing mode. Both control different and animate different. There are different camera considerations and many other things to worry about . Each one takes time to make it feel and play good.

@PolygonCrypt @lowPolyMonsters @CodeRed_dev Okay but tbh, that is easy (depending on the game). If its an FPS it gets a little more annoying depending on how your guns are coded but as someone who has literally put the feature in their project recently it takes an hour max

@CodeRed_dev Yeah. I always see comments towards gamedevs saying “you should add this feature” not realizing it would take months of work to add it. Also the dismissiveness of games with lower fidelity graphics get handwaved away as something not worth their time. Thankfully that’s going away
