Today we announced the arrest of 48 child predators. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office did a tremendous job leading multiple agencies in the coordinated sting.
Our prosecutors will make sure they can never endanger kids again.
Floridians can expect more of this.

They came after children, but Florida and federal law enforcement were waiting for them. Thanks to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office for putting this operation together so these men were stopped before they could harm a single child.

@farkomd Anecdotally I’ve found that if the ovarian diameter is over 9-10 mm the results have been good. I’m sure I’ve a tiny fraction of the number you have

@DavidLaczynski I have done with good result. Number is small though in which it refluxes and is of good caliber to transpose

When I do these cases, I resect that portion of the renal vein that becomes dilated. I utilize a 12x40 protege stent wrapped in bovine, good match to the renal vein. Move 4 cm distally. Sew to side of IVC. This gonadal vein had no reflux on pre procedure venogram. AC for 3 months

What is happening with the SVS Task Force evaluating the concept of an independent board? Who is on it? Why are they not educating and polling our membership of the pros and cons? Cardiovascular medicine is now applying and has full societal support. What is the downside?

@farkomd Bilateral groin and left arm access (just in case). I’ve had a lot of success with Rotarex for chronic occluded stents in iliacs to de-bulk. VBX to recreate bifurcation followed by viabahn to inguinal ligament. Try not to raise bifurcation if able

These stents on the right placed 12 years ago. Left access with high grade stenosis multiple areas. Assume best medical therapy. 60s non smoker (prior). Bilateral short distance claudication. Right foot rest pain. Stop and do AFB, or #ENDO. Let the debate begin
