What would it have achieved Edwards doing his lap around the pitch. Would’ve only caused a similar situation to when Vitor got involved. Edwards wouldn’t have appreciated some of the “support” today, so best to just leave it.
@NathanJudah Once again, another baffling tactical performance from handbrake Rob today against Sunderland also surprised he went straight down the tunnel after the full whistle does he not want to listen to the fans frustration or does he think he’s above criticism for taking the job on
@_AlwaysWolves I must have been watching another match from Edwards yesterday hopefully one day he will let in to them games he’s watching because they sound like good ones to watch
Rob Edwards 🗣️
"It was a close game, I felt we were the better team in the second half in particular, we were pushing.
"The way the game went it was going to be a moment of magic or something like a set piece second phase and it proved to be the case - it's a difficult one to take.
"One or two people don't quite get things right and we got punished. It was a tough one."
On the players' effort and application after relegation was confirmed on Monday night: "I asked for commitment from the players and effort, coming up against a team fighting for their lives.
"We more than matched their intensity and got done with the goal. We have to dust ourselves down and go again.
"There were a few moments in the second half when things could have gone another way. We got (close) a lot but then we were lacking (where it mattered)."
On finishing the season strongly, despite going down: "We got relegated this week, their motivation is really high, but we didn't look like a relegated team. In the end there was nothing in the game.
"That fight and commitment has to be there, we can't let that drop. We are trying to get some results, today I thought we looked tighter and solid and we were pushing."

@LiamKeen_Star That’s easy everybody else in the league is better than us from Day one and we just continued to make shocking decisions throughout the season
After eight seasons in the top flight, Wolves will play in the Championship next season.
In all honesty, there are so many reasons for this dreadful season, but we have attempted to look at where it all went wrong. #wwfcexpressandstar.com/sport/football…

“It cannot happen. This is the Premier League, and at Premier League-level, you cannot concede two goals like this, especially because in the last game, the same thing happened – we conceded two goals in the space of two minutes.
“This is definitely not like us, but these little mistakes can kill us.”
“There’s only five more games and we’ve got to keep going, and that’s the message from the gaffer.”

Relegation will be confirmed at 7:30pm this evening I’ve no doubt.
What I do know is this has been a managed decline over the past three years and this day was a long time in the making.
We can blame managers etc - but it’s ALL on our custodians @Fosun_Intl
Selling our best players year on year replacing them with inadequate alternatives - selling our captain four seasons running - this season though we haven’t even got a recognised captain to sell!
The Nathan Shi appointment is all smoke and mirrors and was a deliberate ploy to take the pressure off Fosun and now that will hopefully backfire very quickly - it’s the owners that need to be on the firing line.
The sooner these charlatans are out of our club and sell up the better. They wouldn’t run any of their other businesses this way but deem it fit to run Wolverhampton Wanderers with such negligence.
FOSUN do the right thing - get out of our club - stop the rot and make the sale to someone who understands the importance of running a football club the right way and wants to rebuild not regress.
It’s our club - not your vanity project.
