Just because your car is an EV, with no tailpipe emissions, doesn't mean you get to burn smokey coal in a clean air zone. I hope that helps.

You know there’s part of the UK that’s already doing Burnhamism? The state has control of city & regional buses, the rail network & the trains. The water company is state-owned. Care is part of the health service, not councils. A centralised gatekeeper for social housing.

You contact the one who you think will help you. And, if they aren't up to much, you can try a rival.

Brought leftover tuna bake into work today. I've just realised I'm the archetypal terrible colleague microwaving fish in the office.

The seagulls have started to congregate on that street near me where, in early summer, one of them turns aggressive.
I know it's only April, but I can't remember when it starts. I know it's only one of those seagulls which attacks, but I can't tell them apart. So I'm avoiding.

Easter is named for the Saxon goddess Eostre, whose festival the Christians took over. This was agreed the previous Sunday, and the Christians celebrated by singing psalms, which is why the Sunday before Easter is still known as Psalm Sunday. #EveryDayALearningDayOnTwitter

I was in a park and a lady loudly called out "Anyone who wants an ice cream come over here". I headed over with several others. She handed out ices to them all then asked me "Who are you?". I realised the rest were all her family. 30 years later I still cringe.
