I'm about to disappoint you, my brother. The story behind this picture is: My wife and I were enjoying a walk through a nice mall when this store caught my eye. I spent a few minutes looking around, checking out the items, and then I spotted this amazing setup. It looked good, I immediately asked my wife to snap a photo—specifically so I could write this caption. The cheapest item was the mouse and it was over $100 😭😭

It turns out I was over complicating my LazyVim setup. All the configs I needed were waiting for me to install them from LazyExtras🤦

Setting up Omarchy really was just as easy as @dhh said it would be but man, configuring the LSP for Vim has been kicking my butt

Just learned that Microsoft made the .NET Upgrade Assistant extension incompatible with newer version of VS2022 in favor of a new upgrade assistant that forces you to pay for Copilot… like whyyy?🙄

Now that there’s a lull of coding tasks at work I guess I’ll start learning Vim. I’m not ditching VS 2022, only using a plugin for emulation. The goal is to become more efficient while coding and navigating my IDE.

If you had $20 a month to spend on an AI subscription to enhance your coding, would you spend it on

If you had to learn a new programming language in a month and a half, how would you do it?

Tonight’s the first time I’ve worked on a personal project since the new job (~1.5 months) and it’s honestly pretty nice.

Finally, for my big news... Today was my first day as a Software Engineer! I started at L3Harris, and I couldn't be more excited! Huge thanks to my family, @dgarcia_appdev , the DSD community, and everyone else who helped me along the way.

@noel_codes Thanks brother💪🏽 we still have to get a lift in sometime😂 I’ll admit I’ve been a big gym skipper so far this year. Looking to turn that around now.

I met this dude like a year ago. At first we bonded over working out, when I met him dude was massive (not so much now🤣jkjk), we got along well and continued talking abt other stuff. He worked hard and continued learning and trying to land his first role, AND HE DID. Proud of u!
