It was great to bring the community together last night, where I chaired a discussion of the latest developments on Peckham Rye Station and Square. 🚉 The #RyeLane Labour councillors launched a petition demanding lift access at the station back in September.

Thanks to @Southwark_News for spreading the word about the public meeting #RyeLane’s Labour councillors have organised for Monday, 6-7:30pm at Rye Lane Baptist Chapel. This is the latest step in our campaign to improve the area in and around Peckham Rye Station.

Another evening talking to voters and picking up casework in #RyeLane. It’s what we do, all year round. 🚪✊

The strength of Labour has always come from the ground up 🌹 Last night in Parliament we brought together local councillors, organisations and activists who are the bedrock of our movement and the driving force behind change in our community. Great to be joined by @LucyMPowell, who reminded us that strong Labour values are how we will secure a Labour Council, a Labour Mayor and a Labour Government.

Great to hear from the Deputy Leader of @UKLabour, @LucyMPowell last night in Parliament - alongside Peckham MP @Miatsf. Very clear on what we need to continue doing for our community!

Great to attend the latest @peckhamlevels Steering Group meeting this evening. It’s so important to support this vital community asset and see it go from strength to strength.

Another packed evening full of meetings. Tonight I chaired three Neighbourhood meetings. 🤝 Delighted that #RyeLane’s Labour councillors allocated thousands of pounds to fantastic local community groups and causes tonight. 💷

Redevelopment of the Buildbase site on Blackpool Road is in the works - the developer is holding events to share their plans at The Green, Nunhead Community Centre: - 19 March, 4-8pm, - 21 March, 10am-1pm. A planning application is likely this summer, so please have your say.

We’ve just finished a full-day talking to residents in #RyeLane about their priorities, and picking-up casework. If you value hard-working community champions, then you must use all your votes for Labour in Rye Lane on May 7th.
